reddit is the biggest piece of shit website in the world.

it's got its fair share of douchers but im surprised to hear you say that, i think it's got a lot of really interesting content and people from all over

if we're gonna hate a website can't it be buzzfeed?

We can totally do both.

I'm talking agnostic of content though. I can't stand to be on reddit long enough to find out if the content is worthwhile. The layout, the navigation, the experience. It feels like it was written by a 12-year-old from 1998. I'm not even joking, the Space Jam website from the original 1996 release looks better.

Don't believe me? Find out in just two clicks.

Yeah dude, it's almost as bad ashttp://www.google.com

Just because things are simple doesn't mean they're bad. The content is what matters, and reddit happens to deliver the content with a no bullshit approach.

I would totally be with you if simple meant intuitive. It isn't though. Simple is good. The site is setup like hell.

Totally disagree. Reddit is whatever you want it to be. True there are garbage subs and dumb people on it but there are also great ones with unfiltered discussions about intelligent topics.

well he responded to me and said he was more so referring to the layout and aesthetics of the site

but yeah like i said reddit has plenty of downsides but it's so interesting. there are just SO MANY people on there, you'll see a post about some crazy esoteric thing and you can go to the comments knowing that there's a good chance someone with intimate knowledge of the subject will elucidate the post for you

that and the people there have a much bigger taste for balanced and thought out posts than here
