Acupuncture on Shins

you may have stress fractures. my first season after switching over from snowboarding, i had so many stress fractures on my shin that they actually formed one big break in my leg.  i would recommend ice and calf raises (stand up, flat footed, pick your heels off the ground and shift the weight to your toes) do 50 everytime you think of it.  it strengthens your calf muscle and supports your shin better.let us know

Don't forget the shin muscle though. A lot of knee injuries/discomfort is caused by imbalance of the quadriceps and hamstrings. If you overstrengthen your calves, you should also work on your shin muscle. It's on the front to outside of your shin. When you're sitting in class, just keep your heel on the ground and pull the front of your foot up as far as you can, hold for 2 seconds, lower, and repeat, and do sets of like 25 each time.
