I'll start off with 2 good ones.

Just because sheryl crow is a woman doesn't make her a pop idol... she has some decent stuff. I agree about the covers though, they suck. If you listen to the unplugged recording of Leaving Las Vegas, it's actually pretty good. Anyways, as I said, Foo Fighters - Baker Street.

I was gonna post 'Til Tuesday's 'Voices Carry' to be done by a prominate metal band but just yesterday on Hardrocking 80s streaming radio I heard a cover of it by Gang Green. Still I'd really like to hear som beatles covers like Come Together or I want to Hold Your Hand done by Guns n' roses (original lineup of course). They do the best covers of any metal band ever, Krokus did some good ones too I suppose ... like American Woman, Ballroom Blitz and School's Out. I actually like their versions much better than the originals ... same with GnR

less than jake did a whole cd of grease songs. i personally hated the movie grease and all it stands for... and i don't listen to less than jake. so i wouldn't really say its a good cover.

NUFAN cover Redemption songs by bob marley. thats a really good cover.
