Action Sports Reel/Filmer Unknown Entry

Fuck yea, that was sooo tight!

I really liked it.

Only thing I didn't love was the font choice/text styling.
 
Really enjoyed it man! Framing and colours were great. Couldn't really ask for anything more. Transitions were really nice, particularly the eye shot.

Music and interview audio worked nicely and was original.

Agree on on the text styling a little. Maybe could have been a little more organized or apparent. After all, your trying to sell yourself, so maybe think about making your contact info a little more "in your face".

Yes your right. I made two versions one for filmed unknown and the other for just a reel. The other version does not have the contact info.
 
Awesome job! The editing and flow is just about perfect. I honestly think it's better than anything level 1 has put out in a while...
 
Too bad the actual "contest" is with the action cams.

I thought it was tight. Little heavy on the slomo even though it was cut up, its just super obvious when ANYONE has an fs700 because of the amount of slomo that is present.

That being said... its not a bad thing for a reel because clients love that shit.

Anyways, other than that I found a few shots kind of uninteresting like I understand the intro went with your song but it could have been shortened IMO as a reel, but that part as an edit was very pleasing.

The ending shot is meh for me as well, you had someone spray you in 240. Again, cool for your reel cause again people eat up slomotion (which is sad, but true, we got an fs700 at pctv and 50% of the reasoning was to have slomotion for clients). For an "edit" or something, which you probably wouldve done differently, it wasn't but but again uninteresting IMO.

Overall, as a reel its solid, no doubty. That camera will basically pay itself off with 120/240 haha
