Anyone see them last night? I thought they were crap. I mean I was happy the included skiing in so many awards: best movie(PROPAGANDA), feat of the year (Seth Morrison Lincoln Loop of some huge cliff), Best Skier Female and Best Skier Male.

They were run crappily and who voted on the awards? I mean Seth Morrison won best skier and he is a sick skier and all but with the others nominated I think Tanner Hall or Jon Olsson deserved it this year with so many wins.

Also, I'm usally a Jonny Moseley fan, but with him presenting an award he made skiers look like fagets, it was embarrasing (sp?).

To end on a good note though, boy were Kristi and Sarah Hot!

Dude, people voted for them, they had open voting on their web site. And I must say that I voted for Seth, I like to see big mtn. lines as much as jibbing, and Seth does both amazingly well. I also wish that people would just give up on dissing mosley, I mean he's the one newschool skier that has public exposure, people know who he is. If they had someone else present sure the skiers would have been happy but 99% of the other viewers would have no idea who the guy was.

Seth Morrison is probally my favorite skier. I think he rips it up and I love big mtn stuff opposed to the park, but they were supposed to give the award for the person who did the most for the sport this year. Im just saying, In my opinion Jon or Tanner did the most this year. Also, the people could vote on the awards in online polls, but thats for who is you favorite is, not neccesarily for who won the award. They showed the poll results throughout the awards and they were different in almost every catagory!

also, aleisha cline shouldnt have gotten the female skier of the year, it should be sarah burke.

I'll second that...Although skierscross requiures skills, The award was for newschool skiing.

Seth isnt really good in the park, from what Ive seen. The people who voted were industry people, filmakers, athletes, etc., regular ppl voted for the ppls choice award.

I have a question about the voting: Could athletes from other sports vote on skiers or could only skiers vote for that award?

yeah clines clip had segments of her racing and crap like that. sure its hard as hell to do but sarahs mistys were a whole lot sicker

its kinda hard to compare seth with jon, tanner and cr cause theyre different kinds of skiers, same with that skiercross girl. it doesnt really work with skiing as much as with skateboarding and such

I don't think you guys realize how talented an athlete Aleisha Klein is. She dominated the skier cross scene as well as the major big mountain comps. She is a world class athlete who won a lot of huge comps (ie. x-games). The top skier awards don't necessarily mean the top park skier. Maybe they should have two separate categories...it's like comparing mogul skiers to racers.

i thought they were a great recognition of some sports, but last years were a lot better. It was just wack to see movie stars like carmen electra and mini me with people like bob burnquist. I just think it's a shady mix. I also was kinda pissed no skiiers showed up. i know they are filming, but it is the one awards show. I wanted to see if CR was gonna dress like a wigger. Oh well, kristi and sarah, and kristi's mom looked hot. thanks espn for being the only people who give awards even if it is a guitar.

its all said and done now cant really do much about it. other then the awards show was a fun time

Go to expn.com to see when it airs again, theyll probably have it on at least 10 more times.

This is prime time for shooting segments, and thats a big part of a pros 'job.'
