for some reason i feel that he did not achieve a perfect score...i got a 25 though first time taking it..not studying...a year after i learned the shit

science-28

math 30

english 31

Reading 34

composite 31.

pretty wierd cause math and science are my best subjects. im content.

Just means hes good at standardized tests, its anyones guess how he'll do in college and if he'll become a 'success'.

No he is just really smart he is like number 1 in our grade but also a really chill dude at the same time. One of the funnest people ever to talk to

These threads are always retarded. Everyone makes up fake scores. I don't believe anyone that says they got over a 27 in here. If you really did, then just scan your test with ur username and prove me wrong, otherwise this is bullshit

damn higher scores than last year when i was posting em. and to the kid who was saying they were fake, i really do think they are real. the act isnt that hard, its all about being good at taking tests.

i got a 29 when i fell asleep, and a 30 the next time.

thats the biggest fucking claim i have ever heard HAHAHAH thats basically every question correct-DOUBT IT-btw i think i got like a 26 or something

28

english-21

math-34

reading-29

science-29

fuckin english those questions are personal choice i think.

either that or the alcohol was tellin me so.

oh and if none of you knew atterol* will help get rid of a hangover.

it has nothing to do with intelligence. (which is why its so stupid) all you have to do is know the tricks to it, and be good at standardized testing. i barely got a 3.0 through high school (mind you mostly because i had a problem with homework) and i got a 30. they are almost unrelated.

my goodness...i feel really dumb. i think i got a 20......haha oh boy.....im so bad at math i ended up with a 17.

No your just normal like other people, everyone getting the 28's and up are really smart. I got a 21 and I'm not ashamed because I know i get good grades at a tough school, which i think is just as important.

tell us your tricks then!!! i dont think colleges would base acceptance on something that is easy to get high scores with no intelligence

composite : 34

That's all I remember. Now I'm a college junior and sucking balls in school. Oh well, hopefully I can dominate the MCAT and still get in med school haha....

Certain colleges will give you a full ride for scores above a 32, while others won't even consider you for a mediocre scholarship if you don't have a combined 3.5 GPA and a 25 ACT.. they are both equally important, and the average highschool ACT score is about a 22 right now nationwide.

tricks. well the science section. skip the super long experiment one. do that one last. it takes the most time. on the others, dont read the paragraph. skim the graphs, then look at the questions, thats what all the questions are based off of. there. thats how to dominate science. ive forgotten most of the other stuff by now, but i know kids who are BRILLIANT, who bomb the act. i also know kids that are borderline retarded that dominate it.

True strategy there, I teach kids to just ignore the text and use the graphs. If you're good, you can look at a chart, mark where shits going with arrows and then do most of the questions just by looking at your arrows.

All in all, I would say that the ACT is a better test of aptitude (if that can be measured by a test anyways) than the SAT. That being said, I do better on the SAT.

thats exactly what i did. and seriously. skip the super long experiment one and save that for last. thats the only one where you actually have to read.

the only thing i can really see having an advantage on is that im a SUPER fast reader, while still retaining comprehension, so obviously that made the reading part easier. but everything else is pretty much strategy

well i never study. I just find the ACT to be super easy. I did alright on the SAT too, but not nearly as good. Anyone else think the SAT is way harder?

which is one of the HUGE problems with our education system. instead of making a test that teaches real skills. we teach to a test, a test that to be honest really has very little to do with the real world.

ha thats horseshit, no school is gonna give a full ride for a 32, 32 is cake to get for anybody who is modestly intelligent.

yeah. ive never heard of a full ride just for act score. im getting 7500 a year here just for a 30, but full ride? no way. even if you get a 36 its only like 14 a year

yeah, i got a 34, 3-ish gpa, and an ass load of AP credits, was a runner up in the national merit scholarship program, and didn't land a single decent scholarship. FAFSA didn't kick in a single dime because my mom's 60g salary is apparently enough to cover tuition for me, my brother, and her mortgage, even though i was paying for all my own shit when i graduated high school. fuck the american education system. fuck it in the ass

where are you applying? with a 29 your pretty much golden unless its a really good school. esp with you being top of your class

do you have anything like community service/extracurricular to work in your favor? the early decision should help. and you CAN take it again. i went up a point from the first time to the second

i would say your probably pretty good to go lol. but if your really nervous. take it again. ill bet youll improve just from knowing what to expect etc. and youll be less nervous because you already have one good score under your belt
