I've had it done on my back (for lower back pain) and on my hand before, the lady I go to is super nice about it, talked me through it and kept me distracted while she stuck the needles in, it just kind of felt like a prick when she put it in it wasn't bad at all. I also got crazy suction cups put on me that left horrifying marks that looked like giant hickeys. Sometimes she puts me under a heat lamp to get relaxed, so nice. Overall, not a bad experience. P.S. get somebody who speaks English because the other person I went to once was hella sketchy because he couldn't communicate to me what he was trying to do.
