Accidental Bombing in Kandahar

Yea, that's why I tried to clarify that what I mean by 'this stuff happens,' is only the sentiment of the public, not a comment that should govern the protocol of military in investigating and dealing with incorrect actions.

i realize that,

however what i am trying to say is that at this point in time the sentiment among the public is no longer 'ahh...this stuff happens'. with the changes in national security since 9/11 and the on going fears of a new war with iraq the general public is no longer willing to take it's personal security for granted. i don't believe the u.s. government is doing it to appease the citizens of canada and i don't believe the public would shrug it off that easily if it had happened in the states, just like canadians are taking it very seriously up here. however, like i said i do not find them criminally liable for their actions, not that my opinion means squat.

I said the Canadian shit to prove my point about how Canadians have this fucked up double standard. I have plenty of friends in Canada, and I love visiting there. And if I had reason to, I would have no problem moving there.

I know the general doesn't want to feel that their general security is threatened, but this had nothing to do w/ an attack on the general public, it had to do w/ military forces. Now I realize that there is a connection between the two. I want to say something about the psychology of 9-11 if stuff like that happened regularly to the American republic, and a more shrugging off response would occur... but I think you guys would find it way too radical.

go ahead and speak your mind....

are we not on the same side here or what??? I can't believe all of the anger. Some very fine folks sacrificed their lives for the betterment of the world. I think bickering amungst us demeans the peoples purpose over there. The troops over there have representatives from many countrys and I'm sure communicating is probably a tad difficult. I, an american, happens to love our neighbors to the north and am thankful they are there and as friendly as they are. I wish all americans could give and give freely from the heart like many of us do. Let's stop the fighting between us bros and put our resources into correcting the big picture.
