Accessories for T2I

do not try this without the proper adapters!!! You can very easily damage your mirror if you dont have the adapter. Look around on Ebay.. for the t2i, youre going to be looking for (xxx to EOS) most canon mounts should work (unless its old, but you can find adapters for them as well)

^I bought the 1000 and it works really well (watch my edit posted on the first page for an example of how it looks)

If you decide to buy it, i'll make the balancing process a little shorter for you (although you will definitely have to fine tune it to your lens and accessories)

balancing for t2i with sigma 70mm DG macro lens:

- Keep the telescoping rod all the way up

- Put 4 weights on the back, and 3 in the front

- Mount the camera all the way back on the quick lock mounting plate, and one space to the left from the center whole

Good Luck!

im going to get the glidecam 2000 pro because my t2i+battery grip + tokina 11-16 weights a fair amount

^Sounds Good!

although i'm sure the 1000 HD would work fine, i'm pretty sure you can buy extra weights, and extending the telescoping rod out all the way would also contribute towards a heavier camera

you could snipe the stitching of a soccer ball all the way across the field with that thing on a crop factor

hahaha yeah, its basically what, 640?

it doesnt get used a lot, but its handy for far away nature stuff and whatnot.

random post in here, but it might generate more interest than a sale thread.

i have a spare 50mm f2-22 pentax k mount lense. really nice glass, nice smooth focus ring.

id let it go for pretty cheap, someone hit me up if they want it.

you can get an adapter for super cheap on ebay and use it with any 1.6 crop canon, you just cant use it with a full frame because the mirror hits it. (ive read that by modifying the lense you can do it, but thats at your own risk)

also would work with any pentax dslr.

dont think it works with nikon because the flange to sensor difference isnt right, so you cant focus to infinity

but anyway, drop me a pm if someone wants it, otherwise ill just hang onto it as a spare in case i god forbid destroy mine.

I have a third party ebay grip and it worked fine! you should be all set. Grab an extra battery too for around $1 and double your battery life ;)

Hey are you guys or anyone still looking for a t2i? cause i got my refurb body for $450 and it works perfectly...no problems whatsoever its mint, if anyone is interested on this same deal just pm me or comment

I have a cage similar to that for my 5d II, it's tight. awesome for mounting accessories.

While I don't doubt this works, it's not a good idea to get the HD1000 if you need to extend the telescoping post all the way and add that many weights. It means you are at the far end of the glidecam's load capacity, which restricts yourself should you ever want to add things like a mic, battery grip, etc.

The HD2000 is the perfect range for DSLRs in my opinion.

also not trying to thread jack but i have some money probably $200 or less, and i have a t2i with a vintage 58mm fast prime... what should i get?
