Accessing Moonlight Headwaters?

I have a season pass at the Sky, and I was wondering about the headwaters at Moonlight.

Not that the headwaters, or the steeps in general, are good enough to ski right now but I have to ask:

Can you ski the headwaters and get back to Big Sky without having to take a moonlight lift? Is there a catwalk that is reachable that will get you back into Big Sky from there?

I've thought about this myself, and I'm inclined to say that it is possible. You've just gotta make it back to Iron Horse. I took a look at the map and sketched out a couple possible routes.

Obviously the top one would be best (bottom one might include uphill portions? hard to tell...) if you can traverse skier's right early enough right after coming down Headwaters.

im pretty sure that both routes you lined out will include some uphill portions its sloped down hill from the top of ski shooter either way, there is a shuttle that goes from moonlight to big sky it wouldnt be the fastest route but might be the easiest.

Lincoln, we did it once last year, but it was a lot of flat walking, and skiing between condos. Not worth it in my opinion.

i'd say theres more rocks on the headwaters usually due to the amount of wind they get smashed with and the higher amount of skier traffic, but regardless both sides of that ridge are fun to ski
