has anyone notice the large amounts a newbs flocking to NS latly, i now see like 5+ threads everyday of some stupid newb posting somthing and like 100 diff newbs posting stupid stuff in another thread, what do u guys think?

this site is gunna probably get filled with new ppl and then as the days go buy in the future we all will just stop coming on this site as often.....and then this site will die. or be taken over by a generation of new ppl........yeah i really cant picture that happening, but i love ns, and hope something like that never happens so we can all come back on this site when were like 30.

well I think its good that there are tons of "newbs"

their one of 2 types.

A) They have been newschool skiing andcome here too talk to people who are interested in the same stuff as them which is great because they can bring alot to the forums

B) THey are new to the sport and want to know more about it so they come here. this is good also it shows that the sport is growing and gaining recognition. those "newbs" are signing on to Newschoolers instead of a snowboarding website. and thats good in my book.

in the past couple of weeks there has been tons of new posts about ramdom stuff! it's dumb like one said that skiing is all bad because of dope and drugs. NEWBS don't deserve to create a whole new thread

^It should probably be based on time. Lots of newbs have crap loads of posts... like me because I spend time on here to avoid studying. I'm still a newb so I'm not going to start a bunch of stupid threads.

Yea, in no way should it be on posts, Ive been here for well over a year on some other sn's. I have just never posted much, but im sure when I do post, people disreagard it seeing as how I dont have thousands and thousands of posts.

Hey I am a newbie, I put up some threads. You people were all like me once too. I just started freestyle in March, I come to this site to learn to stuff and to talk about things. This is an awsome website that i enjoy alot, again just remeber, you were like us at one point too.

ya get over yourselves. i've been skiing for almost 15 years now, i just haven't been a registered member for all that long.

and from what i have seen, the "newbs" posting all the dumb shit appear to be existing members registered under a new name just tryin to get a rise out of people. i say this cause i have seen the amount of ridiculous threads, and unless these people have not spent some time on here, they would not know how to push everyones' buttons.

just because someone is a 'newb' doesn't mean they don't know shit. granted, many of them don't, but i think it's funny how most of this site bases their opinion of someone on that individual's post count.

i felt the need to ressurect. it seems that newbs now dont make profile or icons. when i signed on to NS, i got the tarsier icon immediety, and made a profile. ive evev changed the colors of that little fucker on the lefthand side of my post a few times.

why dont any newbs have icons or profiles. i mean more have profiles than icons. is that big list of icons not being offered when you join anymore with the new system?
