as a moral and nice person, i think it's wrong to take what life we are given. we have one life, not many, not few, ONE. what we do with it is our own choice. we are dealt what we have, we can't really exchange it, so think about your whole life. think about your thoughts, your actions, your entire existance. think about not existing now. the inability to think, or feel at all. just NOTHING. you would'nt know your dead nor that you ever existed, you'd be DEAD. now personally that scares the shit out of me, thinking that im already a quarter way into or so of what life i have.. now when it's over, i will probably have gained comfort in it, but murder is different(in my opinion). taking someone's only life, their one chance, their one existence is just something that should not even be part of our society. my view, so watever.

^word.... and again I would like to refer to math as being an absolute certainty but by using objects not number... like if I have 2 cookies and someone gives you 2 others you know for certain that you have four cookies(unless you ate one)...know what I mean...but I'm no philosopher type of guy so.......

also one more MAJOR point, is that EVERYTHING is relative. The squirel has 2 more nuts, then default, which is zero. Everything is comparitive, which is why we use synonyms, antonyms, etc.

holy killing is wrong is not an absolute truth plain and simple. ANd Im not sure but it seems simple to me. WHat you know and what you think is not the truth and has nothing to do with truth, its not what we are debating. truth is the truth, so it is inherently absolute.

no, since humans are trying to define truth, it becomes a matter of opinion. anything opinionized is only true if other people agree with it. you can say things are true, but you can't define absolute truth, only absolute understanding. That is the ultimate drug.

there may not be an all-encompassing universal truth, but there are many 'truth fragments'. Undeniable truths such as: you need oxygen to live. Go ahead, prove me wrong. Each persons search for absolute truth is really a quest to find what common thing or things bind all the truth fragments that we know about together.

the matrix analogy is all right, but you're not talking about realities, you're talking about truth. For something to be true, someone has to say it's true. not even say it, become aware of it's existence is enough. if there was no life in the entire universe...HOW COULD TRUTH EXIST. please think about it.

sweetcoz - sorry it took long to answer... well really it's not in my interest what i do in any 'other life' because i wouldn't be conscious of it anyways. it's just like when you get realy really really really drunk and you dont remember it, to you it never happened. so imagine no recolection of what happened before drinking, and nobody to fill you in about what happened, then it's like a different person... but not really... it's not a great example, but you know what i mean. in my opinion, this is MY only life as this single individual who will ever be like this. i will never be the exact same, nor will anyone else(unless they clone me.. bastards... in which case i still wouldn't be 'me').. so as this life i live moves on, i choose to enjoy it and think of it as my only life. i can't say i know what will/has/could happen to me, i'm just saying i think this is my one chance, so make it good.
