Absolute shitiest skis you've used?

BLIZZARD Poacher.
Arrived dead in the box. Ski has no life what so ever and none of the benefits of a flexy ski. Zero recoil and you can practically, with little force, bend it in half. Usually this can happen after substantial riding, but not here. Even worse, they must have used the worst base material know to man, because I was scrapping base off just removing the sticker and maxing the skis!!!!
I guess there's a reason they are $120 on TD.
I could have also just gotten a bunk pair, but who knows....

I would have to say Public Enemies out of all the twin tips I have had. Only because I had them mounted in a shitty ass place. I also do not like my lizzies in any sort of choppy stuff, they take you for a not so joyful ride. But on groomers and in the trees/ pow on and in the park, they may be my favorite.

here are mine. complete shit.

notice no ones even mentioned armada so far. i've had one pair (thalls) and i loved them, just too small to ride every day now. guess you really do get what you pay for.

First off all, Ben - Foils as your favorite ski?! Shaving cream cores? Second, as I can see this is a younger crowd, it seems no one had the pleasure of riding the first atomic twin tips. The fat ones were the stomp, can't remember the park oriented ones. But they had about as much life as a tombstone.

Been using my brothers Scratch BC's the past couple days. Pretty fucking shitty. They feel soooo dead. fuck foam core.

Yes!!!!! thank you. Though it sounds like the blizzard poacher beats it in terms of uselessness. But the tweaks seemed like 2x4s at the time, didn't have much sidecut, and the graphics were pretty lame. Overall, my worst.

I've had fun on every pair of skis I've owned, from my inherited 185 Blizzards I did my first 3 on to my new LL2's. Edges ripped out of an old pair of Elan parabolic skis (def. not made for rails) and my dad's old Rossi's (same deal, less side cut. Still not made for rails). My 03/04 Fujatives are still going strong and have nothing bad to say about them.

I once mounted a pair of Line Ghettoblasters myself because they had already been drilled so many times a shop wouldn't touch em. But they worked fine so I can't say they were shitty.

wow, well i'm actually not so surprised to see that. they were really shitty..
HOWEVER, i'm just gonna point out that they've apparently changed factories and i've heard they've become more legit. it's only fair to mention that, although i haven't tried the new ninthwards.

i really havent had problems with the foam cores, granted i havent been hitting super huge jumps on em. but they are super light and really snappy and lively which i love. im tearing edges out of them like nobodies business now, but they are 2 seasons old, thats not a suprise, i hit a lot of rails.

haha i know a lot of people hated em, but ive loved em. sad they dont make them any more.

i break a lot of skis.... well, other than the Head Mad Trix, I've broken every ski I've had in a year or two... If a ski lasts for over one full season, I consider that a great ski. It's sad, I know, but I guess I'm an aggressive skier?

I won't judge the 'shitiest' ski on it's lifespan, but more it's performance. Elan, any Elan. Every Elan ski that has touched my feet have been horrible. They're about the only company I would straight up refuse a sponsorship from. not to say that i warrant being sponsored, but if it were to come up and my option was Elan or nothing - that's not a very hard decision.

What? I had them as my first ski and they have been used for about 4 years (I sold them) and theyre still in good condition.

gonna have to say the scarface T-Halls. seriously. they just sucked. i dunno what it was about them, but after being so stoked on the original Halls, when he changed them into a stiffened up pipe ski i was not impressed.

well for all my 13 years of skiing ive only owned 3 pairs...a pair of regular downhill atomics which i cant remember the model, 08 invaders and nowim on 09 chronics and out of those three i would have to say i hated not one of them. they all lasted me and although the invaders got beat to shit they were still ski'able for another season when i sold them, the atomics were just absolute tanks even though i didnt ski them hard, and my chronics are holding up fine just some cuts in the top sheet from skis banging together.

i have always had great luck with dynastar/rossi skis.. owned every pair of twintips since the white/red concepts. Those delammed, the first gen troublemakers, edge separated. but other than that, they are really bomb proof if you know how to ski..

a lot of you on here like to dance around on rails and thats why you all have problems.. 9/10 its the user, not the product.. ski edges are really not meant for rails.. get it the woods and upper treeline you park rats!!!!

06 dynastar kids troubles

i think they were just a topsheet glued to a base with nothing in the middle......

2007? volkl dogens. maybe i just had a shitty pair but they fell apart like halfway through the season. and i love in michigan where my season is 30 days at the most

i have suspects. never had a problem. theyre great skis if you maintain them.

never had a problem with my thrusters either.

maybe its not the ski, maybe its the skier whos too lazy to maintain their skis

haha the best part is he just bought some nines from the same year but yea with respect to nine they have improved just like every other sompany except salomon

yikes, i had the 09 model, they topsheet got scratched like crazy but they held up all together.

on the 09 disorderlys now and havnt heard any bad things about them...yet.

really? what do you ski just park? the PE's are stiff as all hell so they're not too good for the park but they kick a good amount of ass everywhere else. solid ass ski. never tried the extremes but I've got a pair of PE's and I enjoy them. stiff as fuck though.

I've had pretty good luck.

Maybe pocket rockets? I didn't really even dislike them THAT much, just not the ski for me.
