ABS rail?

Hey, I saw some people suggesting to use ABS instead of PVC cause its sturdier, but does ABS slide well? I'd like feedback from people who tried it if possible.

i dont know man, i dont like ABS very much, it just feels really brittle to me. i always use solid PVC but dont get the PVC foam combo shit

i dont really like ABS, its softer so it doesn't slide as fast, and its no stronger then pvc, i'd just go with pvc

oh alright i just thought ABS looked stronger

well ill get pvc then until i can build myself a full metal rail

i use abs and it works fine. if you want it slipperier than wax it with some skate wax

ABS is actually a stronger material than PVC, but it's up to you. It's stiffer than PVC, so many people don't like it as it feels brittle and kindof odd. PVC is a little softer, and feels smoother while sliding.
It's up to you though. They cost around the same price.
