^god if you want to get abstract then go ahead and criticize all aspects of human living that are beyond eating, drinking, sleeping and mating. because the value you place in any of it is entirely subjective. you can't possibly denounce religion if people get enjoyment out of it, because if you do then you can denounce skiing too, afterall its just an enjoyable activity.

religion is fine as an activity to bring you joy and meaning in your life. However, it is fundamentalism that is at fault. When people take it so far as to denounce all other aspects of life except for their religion they're gunna step on some toes...of people...with ICBM's and big guns. people are stupid as fuck

even without religion there would have been wars...wars over groups and politics. land. all sorts of shit religion ties alot of common people together. without religion they arent so related and could possibly fight more. they would fight over land all the time. look at new guinea or polynesian islands. before euro settlers they would fight over land constantly and still do but not as much
