ok i said i was done so i'm not going to argue about the topic anymore, but as a side note, apparently people don't understand the basic principles of argument. The guy above me says 'It is a living organism, and killing a living organism is wrong.'

Well, that's an ineffective argument, because your premises are not undisputed; in this case, not everyone agrees that what you've put forth is the correct definition of life. You must first show (give other premises supporting) your claim that it is a living organism. Then your argument will not be so weak.

 
I dont think peoples opinions should always be mirrord in goverment policy. I think the goverment should stay outof it, except maybe in 'late term' abortion. And none of this hipocricy on 2 count murder either, if its not a womans right to murder, then killing a pregnat woman should be 1 count.

 
yo JD, read the post. I wrote exactly what you say I need to make a valid argument. Let me repeat. Something must be alive to be killed/aborted. If you abort a fetus, it was a alive -- plain and simple fact.

i had a cousin, who got pregenant. The doctors told her the baby would be born without a brain ahd she and her husband made the decision to have an abortion. Now, which is worse, killing a baby who is not even alive, or giving birth to a baby who would live for 2 hours at the most and then die? im pro choice... its a womans decision

If a 13 yearold get's pregnant then an abortion could save her life. Not that she would die but she is most likly gonna live a life in poverty or semi poverty if she has a kid to take care of at that age, as opposed to having more time for an education. The world is overpopulated anyway. People who say that abortion is merder are the same people that enjoy hunting and going to war so that is bullshit. It is because of religion and if not then they are even more of a fuckin moron

^ That's not necessarily true. Just because conservatives are pro-life, not all people who are pro-life are conservatives. Some people decide to base their opinions on the issues themselves rather than what they 'should' believe based on their political orientation. I'm not sure what I am because it's such a complicated issue, but please do not ever quote Michael Moore when trying to make a point. If it was decided that fucking bears was a left-wing thing to do, he would defend the point that we should fuck bears to the death.
