Abnormal binding release?

so tonight i was skiing and everything started off fine...then i landed it a hole of death after a rainbow box and ejected outta my right ski.

the next two runs consisted of me popping out of my bindings whenever i tried to get enough pop for a 180 let alone a 360.

im going upsate tommmorow and need to figure out why this happens....its happened in the past on a reallly cold night like tonight...but im pretty sure there was NO ice in it.

any help?

just change din?

this happens to my brother he broke a million pairs of breaks last year and was allways popping out even when his din was cranked up, he bought new bindings and it still was happening, his boots are good so its not that, when he rides my skis it doesnt happen i have a little bit smaller foot than him though, check to make sure the person who mounted your bindings set them right to your bsl, the only thing that would keep him in was cranking the bindings a little smaller, not the safest thing but for some strange reason he cant stay in his skis

well ill bet the farm that you have the low end marker bindings... they suck, i had the exact same problem. you probably just need new bindings... or i suppose you could crank up the din, but that usually results with the skis not popping off when you need em to.

uhhh, im pretty sure they are a pair of pretty old salomon binding(they are mounted on 04 Public Enemies

ill check when i get home...i have a theory, but im not sure.

when i start out the day my boots fit in snuggly to my binding, no shake.

but after i ski for a bit in the cold my toe piece moves a tiny bit side to side and im afraid its too loose.

is it possible that the cold made my boot contract a bit and become loose? im not sure..

Wing andjustment, toe height, forward pressure, torque test (its kinda old binding), all these things could explain why he's popping out. Rental plate? thats another problem because the forward pressure will never be exact.

check the wings and the bindings and make sure everything is nice and tight. and check the forward pressure. if thats too loose, even if his din is cranked up, it will still be ejecting.

on the front and back of your binding you have a big screw type thing. on the back, it should be under the thing that lifts up. so pull it up and tighten the screw a lil. not too much or its dangerous. the lil gauge should go up. same to the front, only the screw is at the nose of it. tighten it to the same number you tightened the back. i hope this helps, sorry i didnt use the correct terms

take it to a certified technician, there is 5 different screws that need adjusting, and one will help the other, the toe height and wing resistance are the ones that need the most attention don't listen to anyone on NS trying to tell you how to do it because chances are you will do it wrong
