I saw Yearbook last night, and it was alright. Abma definitely stole the show... that huge face he shredded at the beginning was ill...I met him and Sarah Burke (schwing. They were over just chillin in the corner, trying to avoid the crowd. They were both really, really cool. Props to Abma

abmas part was by far the best, and that helicopter follow cam was so tight looking. but the rest of the movie was kind of weak. there was toooooo much mckonky, i mean the ski base jumping was tight but it just started to get same old same old.

haha i dunno if abma is that cool he got pretty pissed off at me and my friends at the focused showing last year haha its was great i guess he doesnt have a sense of humor.

abmas part was good, but not the best in my mind. I thougt t hall's part was fucking sick, as far as the tricks go, and I really liked mckonkeys part.

Amba's part ruled all....First of all, i had no idea that he could shred big mountain like he did. He had some of the most insane lines in the entire movie. Then, he layed down the sickest tricks. His segment flowed so well.

The only enemy agaist progression is FEAR!
 
Yearbook started out with a bang (Abma) and then just got shittier and shittier. Music got worse, skiing got worse, etc... Seth is rad, but I don't fucking care if the conditions sucked ass... that's not my fault.

One thing I don't understand is why all of the booter shots have to be framed so godamn tight. Abma had some big stuff in there and it was really hard to tell without a reference of just how big.

That's him right there. They call him that cause he was all up in it...lovin' it strong.
 
I saw yearbook last week in whistler, and i have to say that Marks segment was the most well rounded killer skiing of the movie. If Mark doesnt win breakthrough performance of the year at the powder awards, im gonna give keith carlson a massive wedgie. Take a look at what he was skiing...Massive AK style Bella Coola lines with fatal exposure, made to look soooo fuckin smooth, as well as some of the best booter shots ever filmed by a heli...even though that angle got played out after the 10th or so time, ABMA killed it. Way to step it up in the absence of Hugo and Seth. Without Mark, the movie would have been a disaster year for MSP. I also really liked Tanners double grab japan...so fucking smooth. He never ceases to amaze me.

Heres the bottom line...MARK ABMA better win the Breakthrough Performance of the Year at the powder awards, hands down...or else.

msp always has sick editing skiing whether u like it or not its insane skiing, the music is usualyl pretty sick, msp kills it in my opinion

Pollards was pretty good....he is just taking it to another level with switch stuff. I cannot wait to see him in WSKI106. Iberg said that Pollard's part might quite possibly be the best segment of all time, or something along those lines.

What about C.R.'s part. It has yet to be mentioned in any of the posts on Yearbook. I thought his seg was great and really well rounded last year.

Abma did in fact kill it. I thought CR's seg was kinda weak. Tanner's seg was full of small lines that were alright. I thought ALL of the heli fly bys were super sick....and def. not played out. Ingrid had a dope seg as well. Pollard was really good, and McConkey was entertaining.

Abma is a hippie with a 7-11 nacho cheese fetish. Mark had a gigantic season last year and most definately let people know that he can ski more than just a park. We are very happy for him here on Vashon.
