Abercrombie & Fitch Gets a Brand Readjustment

Watch a bunch of crap. Firstly, That guy was so blatant in his bias the video looses all credibility. Secondly, so what they don't make clothes for bigger people? Bigger people aren't there target market. They're a company with the goal of making a profit, not pleasing the masses. It's like complaining manufacturers of baby clothes are discriminating against age.

This is a PRIVATE company. I understand that what their doing is kinda shitty I guess, but they have a target audience/consumer for their product and that's who they provide for. Do people give computer companies shit for not targeting impoverished people in Africa? No, because they don't think it is worthwhile enough. I realize that is an extreme example, but it is just meant to show how all companies have target comsers for their product who they choose, as private corporations, to market to.

Yeah they want an image to maintain to boost their sales. If you are against it then so be it, they are still making millions of dollars.

Abercrombie and Fitch wastes so much stuff, I used to work for them and it's unreal how much is wasted. They refuse to recycle anything, which I found to be pretty ridiculous due to the large amount of plastic and card board that all of the clothing gets shipped to the store in.

I don't wear their clothes and I find it to be true that douches wear Abercrombie & Fitch. HOWEVER, it's their business, and to be honest for my whole 21 years on this earth I can remember abercrombie & fitch being relevant. Their business strategy works.

That is a blanket statement that holds only a small potion of half-truth.

"Recycling" only causes more harm than good when items that actually cannot be recycled are included with recyclables; such as including soiled cardboard pizza boxes, or non-recyclable plastics. The "harm" here is actually that these non-recyclable plastics end up needing to be shipped out to a waste disposal location.

Aluminum, glass, cardboard and paper are all cake. They save boatloads of energy and materials over the full lifecycle of the container. PROPERLY sorted plastics are also extremely beneficial to recycle as well.

Even the most conservative states agrees on this...

If you want to get a little more scientific, here is a study from another one of the US's most conservative states:

I love all of the articles written by offended moms that flood my facebook newsfeed over this shit, it really is funny to me.

Abercrombie is laughing all the way to the bank with these "protests". Nothing like a whole crap-ton of free publicity.

Well, I'm sure I hate seeing fat asses in Abercrombie more than the CEO does. At least the CEo still gets paid. I just have to look at fat gay guys in sweatpants

It's really funny how angry people are getting over this. He didn't even say anything offensive. Imagine if somebody said something actually offensive to these people. Smoke would come out their ears.

Reminds me of the Chick-Fil-A controversy. Remember how well the Chick-Fil-A boycott turned out? They had record sales.

I have a feeling that if a company came out and said they would only make clothes for fat people, and refused to make small or medium sizes, they would be praised for being somehow more including or that they care more.
