ABC's 2008 Presidential Match-o-meter!!

good way for people who have no clue who to support get interested in certain candidates, but it's not all that accurate. i got biden as my top, and while i do agree with him on plenty of issues, i still support obama as my top choice. i wouldn't be pissed if biden won either, but he just doesn't have the support which sucks for him.

and i got clinton as my second, and that just proves this match isn't that accurate. there aren't enough questions to really make your match perfect.
 
I agree mang, the system isnt perfect, but its a good start and a really good step towards 21st century technology getting more into politics and stepping away from the old style lame stream media. The web 2.0 style of the poll was just really cool too.

Choice one, maybe. Two and three? Fuck no. This shit is rigged.
 
What this doesnt take into account is that most of these guys have no chance, because the american two party system is a load of shit.
 
That last question is shit, I'd love to have a President that doesnt have the Capitol Hill mindset. The only qualification needed to be a good leader is a want to do good, so why should a governor or mayor have precedence to be president moreso than a librarian or farmer?

And none of the candidates fit my values.

I got Giuliani, Biden, and Dodd. I was pretty on the fence on whether I was going to vote for McCain or Giuliani in the primaries so I guess its gonna be Giuliani. Thanks ABC.

Does anyone else think its ridiculous that we don't get to vote in both republican and democratic primaries? I want the best person from both parties.

dude, the poll is an interactive tool to possibly narrow your choice, but PLEASE do not let it choose a candidate for you. Giuliani is a fucking fool, seriously, so much dirt on that guy and he will LOSE to HIllary Clinton. Ron Paul is the only person who can beat Hilary, im dead serious.
 
Gravel is actually a real good candidate not owned by big Corporations, I would probaly support him if Ron Paul wasnt running. Gravel actually tells it how it is, unlike the other fakes.

Wait, no, batshit insane is pretty much a sufficient condition for not voting for someone. But then, if you're a Ron Paul supporter, I guess you have different standards of electability.

 
Giulani has no chance, the only thing he is running on is his handling of the situation post 9/11, and there is plenty of evidence that he fucked up there too.
 
ummm... It did narrow my choice. I was between mccain and giuliani. If you think clinton would make a good president and if you think she even has a chance at winning then I really hope you don't reproduce.
 
No thats what Im saying, I DO NOT want Clinton in office. She is going to be hard to beat with all of her money. BUT, I think and many others do as well that RON PAUL can actually beat her because he has a really firm stance on things and mainly for the fact that he will stop the war.
 
No matter what someone is going to make another stupid decision in office. Lets hope its another sex scandal instead of a war.
