i just cut off my blue nail, so i don't have a nail on my left big toe. it became blue after playing soccer in fall. this shit is nasty and it herts a little.

in like 2 weeks it will feel perfectly fine although there is no nail. it just gets hard and caloused and will be fine. you can put a ski boot on.

one time i came off a rail kinda weird and had my thumb underneath my edge when i landed and pretty much just ran it over right below my fingernail and it hurt like hell. and then a couple weeks later the nail came growing out all black and dead looking. it was pretty sick, and painful when i was cutting it all off.

I got frostbite last winter, and my big toe nail turned black and about 4 months later it fell completely. I looked so nice just in time for sandal season....but don't worry you'll be skiing again by this weekend!
