A Very Hard Decision

So, I am faced with a very tough decision here. Originally I was planning on going to lollapalooza this summer, its a giant music festival. Radiohead, Rage against the machine, nine inch nails, kanye and a bunch of other crazy bands are playing

now, I have been offered a trip to mexico over the same time that lollapalooza is happening (august 1-3 is the festival, the trip would be august 2-9)

the ultimate question is, which one should i pick???
 
If the trip to mexico involves beaches and surfing I would do that. If this is your toughest decision to make your life is pretty good.
 
go to mexico, sell your lollapalooza ticket, and buy a rothbury ticket, july 4th weekend, muuuuuuuuch better bands

i would say mexico for sure, but that's me personally. as someone above me said, you can go to concerts all the time.
 
mexico fer sher. cheap street tacos, mariachi music, sol and pacifico beer, maybe some ruins or beaches depending where you go. mexico is awesome.
 
dude, dumb question. i've been to Lollapalooza twice, i'm going again this year, and i wouldn't miss it for the world. seriously, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, and Radiohead headlining? that's nuts! i know everyone's saying "go to Mexico!", but fuck that. at that time of the year, Grant Park is hot enough, so why would you want to go to Mexico? that's dumb. instead, go to the most epic festival of the year. go to Lolla. i'll see you there. we'll smoke mad blunts. epicness will ensue.
 
i would say mexico, unless these are some of your favorite bands and its you last shot to see them.
 
sounds pretty shitty to me lollapalooza....mexico is so fucken fun so many chill people to hang out with so much u would miss that for a day or two or watever for a couple bands that suck anyway?
 
hahahahaha, you've clearly never been to Lolla and there are definitely some sick bands going this summer. if you've been to Lolla, you know what's up- the festival's great, the location's great, the music is fuckin awesome.
 
completley depends on where in mexico, if its like cancun or tihajuana, go to the concert. If its somewhere nice go to mexico.

hmm it seems as if mexico has the vote! plus i will still be able to go to the first day of lolla.

i just got back from mexico about 5 days ago. it was for my senior spring break at an all inclusive resort and it was really fun. I did have about 30 friends down there with me though which made it a lot better. I dunno mexico would be cool but that concert deal might be worth it to go.
 
If you go to a resort in Mexico, it will be full of tourists, mostly Americans. Yay. May as well go to Florida...

I'd vote Lollapalooza, because that is a crazy line-up and I'm sure it will be a great time where you'll probably meet more fun people than at a resort in Mexico.

If you travel around Mexico, go to different places, and actually have a culturally different experience
