A summer substitute for skiing

I dont know if you guys have ever heard of Harb Carvers, but i have just learned about them recently. Apparently they are like rollerblades but you are able to lean on edge so that you can get the skiing sensation. People go down hills with these things, poles and everything. it looks pretty sweet. heres a link to their site where you can also see pictures.

Those are kinda cool, wonder what kinda turns you have to make to control speed, seems like it could be scary. Good post.

what about those freeski inlines, i forget the name of them but they have like a marker binding mounted on what looks like a feestyle inline skate.

has anybody used them ?

I have seen the offraod ones,by rollerblade, they seem so sketchy, I am just scared that these ones poster would accelerate like a long board.

In my opinion, those really have nothing to do with skiing cause its just getting on edge and turning and you dont even have long skis or anything. just go skateboarding or find a summer glacier

not to slam themn or anythign i think they kinda look gay or maybe its just the person in the picture that looks gay. but oh well i hve roller skis but you cant turn on them but they work fine.

This is what I am doing, but omce drunk is achieved, then i will go get some of thses skates, and then it will get extreme!

haha im sorry but if i saw sum on the street wiht those poles and everything id prolly throw a stick infront of them

thats pretty sweet. ive seen some like the ones they use for cross country training, but that are designed for jibbing.

yea i hate that

i also hate it wen theres a huge asian invasion on the mountain and theyre screaming to each other in korean/chinese or whatever and they keep falling

dude, take away the poles and skates, and he looks like he's trying to wipe dog shit off his shoes.

i have tried the waterskis, or ones like them, they are fun but kinda like getting towed by a snowmoible through three feet of fresh.
