A successful thread:

what is a 'successful thread'? is it one that has provoked thought-provoking discussion, length, humor... what makes a good thread and what makes a successful thread? your thoughts please

a good thread has a lot of posts and pictures of hot girls and other threads dedicated to the original

A thread that can create a nice discussion with no bashing is a good thread. One thing that is getting annoying is that there are good threads...but everyone just goes to the bad ones and bashes people so the good threads don't even get a good discussion going.

i disagree only because u are a crazy fool, a good thread would come with a free chocolate bar and other assorted sweets.

Very easy. get people pissed off.

Post something like Pot should be illegalized, conservatives suck or picture jokes are good successful threads

Yea tru, I hate it when there are like 4 of the same thing made by different people all at a different time. It's like when someone makes a thread called "Favorite food" for example, there is always a douche that makes one 5 mins later that is called "favorite thing to eat"

fuckin cocks!

a good thread is one in the ski equpiment forum because that's where you'll get the leat amount of idiots trying to be cool and funny. there still is bashing and such but it is actually an informative forum that i can learn from.

well in that case, most things posted in ski gabber would be successful, seeing as the only thing the vast majority of the people on this site know anything about is skiing...

true, the majority of threads in ski gabber are "successful" but i just prefer to be where not as many people go and post unless they want some real answer to questions about skis and obviously equipment. i do find myself looking at ski gabber sometimes but i mainly rely on ski equipment forum.
