The most obvious topic (skiing is better than snowboarding) was already talked about by a classmate of mine. So, I need a really good topic to persuade my fellow classmates about. It's short, two to three minutes with a one minute Q&A session.
Come on newschoolers, show me what you guys (and gals) got!

p.s. +++karma for any and all constructive help

I will send a Peanut Butter or Chocolate (your choice) PowerBar to the best suggestion, free of charge! Or if it is super duper i will send BOTH FLAVORS...YESSS!!! I KNOW ITS IN YOU NEWSCHOOLERS. USE YOUR BRAINS A MAKE SOME MAGIC. LETS DO THIS!!!
LA DE DADA DE DAA DA LA DE DAA DOOO DE DUM DIDDY DEE DIDDY DUMM PIDDY PUM PIE WEE WUMMY UMM YUMM

IDEAS IDEAS IDEAS IDEAS!!!

The Great Debate: Is meth really that bad?

But yeah, if you're teacher is chill and will actually grade you on the use of arguments more so than how much he agrees with the topic, then go for something funny that you and your class will find interesting. It'll be so much easier to retain and make it fun to do.

You can argue the merits of beer over water, or maybe something to do with polygamy. The world is your oyster.

Trust me that was the first thing that came across my mind when I found out we were doing these speeches. And it would be so nice if I could do that. Unfortunately that wouldn't fly with my teacher. Good call though.

persuade them that persuasive arguments are useless and that people will form their own opinions regardless of what you say.

in my speech class we're doing a speech to call action to a cause. im doing supporting small core shops and companies.
