Just got a 1994 BMW 325i. Here is my pointless story that you may read if you want.

3 hours of canyon roads one way to go skiing. (could have gone on the interstate, but that is no fun). I went with 6 firends so we took 2 cars.

Loaded with ski stuff and 2 passengers, the car had great power in the turns and ups and downs. And better yet, I got 32 miles per gallon, even with my somehwat spirited driving. -My other firend who was driving has a 2003 WRX and i wanted to show him what what up )

He had previously explained to me that there was a straightaway in the road where he aloways tried to get to 100mph. well, I was going 60 and just downshifted into fourth, I passed him and got to 103 at the same time ) (loaded with ski stuff and 2 passengers)

We also had to go a fair distance ona dirt road, and I think that considering, my car did great, although i had to tell my friend in the WRX to slow down a bit, because having RWD I was a bit worried about going 50mph on it .

anyways, jsut wanted to say, that I LOVE my new car!!!

ya, both cars are stock. im getting a job so it wont be stock for too much longer (first im getting a chip, well go from there...)

and its not an STI, but still for a 1994 that i got for far less then half the price of the WRX, that is damn good.

you down shift so you can push your rpm in 4th and then upshift once you've redlined.

my car is a 1986 volvo. i have to floor it for about five minutes in fifth to hit 160 ks. and then it shakes like mad.

its rw rive too though. do find that dangerous on snowy roads? i fishtail all over

I'm failing to see why people are calling fake on this story? What's fake? That he got a bmw going 103 mph on a straight away? I was racing with my brother the other day and he got the minivan going that fast on some windy mountain roads.

Just because his friend has a wrx doesn't mean he pushes it or uses what it's made for. I've seen so many people have porsches or even a lamborghini and drive it in the slow lane.

I just don't get it, but hey.

 
yeah man, i'm stoked on new cars too. my good friend used to drive a fucking firefly right? little piece of shit, 60 horsepower... but he got a brand new saturn ion last summer, and it's fuckin tight. it boosts too. standard... the guy loves it, and he kills at racing. he squeels the tired every shift he makes, its so dope. good times for sure.

no, i was in 5th while crusing at 60. i downshifter to accelerate and had to shift in to 5th obviously before i got to 100.

the 318i is the slowest bmw of all time. that baing a BMW with a 1.8 li 4 cylinder engine. the 325i, which i have, is a 6 cylinder 2.5 li. it has 189 horses stock. its not slow. then there is the 323i which has faster 0-60 then the 325i by a very slight amount, but higher up the 325i is better.

ya, i know, just because i sort of know how to drive (Im not bad, but not that great especially at racing) and you may not know how to drive, doesnt make this story untrue.

I am kind of woundering though, according to http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html my firends WRX goes 0-60 in 6 seconds, and mine is 7.4, so maybe he doesnt know to downshift like I did, or maybe my car is better past 60 since that is what we were going to begin with.

just washed her today, she was dirty after that canyon driving. Im going to rub off the gray on the side skirts (there is body color under them on these cars) and eventually im going to get the gray on the front and rear bumpers painted to match the body color. either that or i might get them and the side skirts painted pitch black. that would be cool.

sorry my man but the 316i is the slowest 3 series ever produced, the e21(i think it) 320i is also on the slower side only have a 4 cylinder

ok ok ok. i was talking e36 made in US. of corse if you go back in time, there are going to be slower cars.

nice car my freind has a 325is and it fuckin rips with a few minor mods all installed by me and him that story is totally true we had his doing about 140mph and it was still pullin have fun with the new car and try drifting its so much fun stick to wet roads right after the rain though or else its hard on the tires.

it is a fog light to ram air conversion for cheap cheap cheap (cheap supercharger). you gain alot of power! but you only have one fog light afterwards, well worth it though!

its hard to do that on a straightaway. oh you mean if i went drifting. ya i dont have enough money to spend on tires for that. you have to be an idiot to flip your car (if it is decent) while drifting though, it is damn hard. atleast from my expeirence. It too hard on my car for me to do it alot though.
