Within a week or so, I'm going to be a skin head. Hacking off the dreads. Am I making the right decision?

unless youve got like a infestation of bugs in your dreads, then yes you are making a terrible choice. your a chick arent you? why would you want to be a skin head. and when you say skin head do you mean like with a head of skin, or part of the group of people known as skin heads, there is a huge difference.

as long as you didn't use beeswax (or any wax for that matter) to make the dreads, you should be able to wash + comb them out.....

cut them really short and comb like a motha fucker it'll probably take a while and a lot of shampooing but you'll actually have some hair that way. unless you want them fully shaved off but for a girl, yeah, no matter what girl it just doesn't look good.

I won't actually be a skin head, my head won't be shaved either, I have gorwn out my hair this summer and not dreaded the parts growing in so now when I cut it I will have more than half an inch of hair. I don't have a scanner or digital camera but I will get some pictures soon-- hopefully before I cut my hair.

I cut my dreads a while back. I miss them a bunch, but it seemd like everyone was getting them, so they are gone. I kept a couple. They are pinned to my bulletin board.
