A Reluctant See You Soon

It’s that time of the year my boys. Unfortunately, I do not spend a lot of time on here besides the winter; and as fate may have it, I live in Michigan. My ski season has ended. In the spring I move into surfing Lake Michigan when I can and golf. I appreciate you all and I feel like I don’t post a ton but everyone is really cool and I wish we could all share a keg together. What do you all do in the off season? Wether it’s Michigan or Mt. Hood I’d love to chat in one last thread before my mind shifts elsewhere.

Hell yeah dude! As much as I love outdoor sports, I have a weird fear of biking for some reason. More power to you, wheels down and let it rip,….That’s what people say right?

Bike season is upon us. Sorry ur ski season is up already homie. Cheers till the next one.

Summer skiing isn't terribly far from you.

Each summer I go to mt hood, liberty snowflex and now hopefully the indoor place in NJ. Snowflex and the indoor place are relatively cheap summer ski trips compared to hood

Besides that I just spend a lot of time biking and trying to prepare my body for next season

Doesn't have to be mtb, that shit is a great way to get hurt. I just bike around the streets like an old boomer, that's plenty of a good workout. Especially if you live near some hills

Our hill is likely going to be open until mid/late April with Lutsen probably going until May. It’s been a crazy snow year, we had almost 50cms a couple days ago with another 20ish in the forecast for next week. Once skiing is done it’s on to golf and biking. This is my backyard yesterday.

My local hill is still open for another couple weeks but a week ago they took down all the rails in the park. Still nearly a month left in the planned season. wtf.

I'm going try skateboarding but honestly skiing is literally my favorite thing in this world and nothing is as fun. Downhill mtb is awesome I love hitting the 20fters but the only place is 2hours away and it's 60$ to rent a bike. And last summer I didn't have much time on my hands anyway just work all day everyday.

It got to a point where I was sleeping on my bosses driveway in his ice house 4 days a week and I get homesick so it sucked not to mention 11hour days landscaping.

Ive been skating for a few years now and I just got to the point where i can cruise around whole parks and toss mellow shuvs and heel flips and skate transition and its starting to fill that gap in the summer for sure. Its definitely way more rewarding and has helped my balance a lot, tricks take longer to learn and usually have higher consequence/higher reward. Falling on concrete is just ass though i can eat shit all day on skis and not be too roughed but a couple hard skate slams and i'm feelin it for at least a week.

Ice out in NH means I can start pike fishing again, that and skateboarding keep me more than occupied during the summer. Cheers everyone, go out and crush it if you still have time to ski

If you like skiing dirt. You should be okay in two weeks, probably. But May ain’t happening except as a novelty. We are one warm week from most our useable snow being gone in the UP.

The last 6yrs of my life (I moved alot as a kid) my friends and I would just go riding all summer. Actually all year but some of the boys are gett'n older (oldest is 20 but still that's pretty old) and Ike broke his back and blew up his wheeler Jonah blew his wheeler Benny kinda went his own way Alex works all the time which leaves me to ride with myself ? kylers getting one this fall but he lives across the st. Croix so i can't just ride over to his house even though we all live in the

Australian outback of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
