A racer going to NS For Help.

Alright so im a racer.

But i spend half of my time in the park and i always feel like an idiot with my racing helmet in there even though im pretty decent in the park.

Soo i think im going to get a red hi fi or a giro g10. theyre legal for racing now so why not? right?

my question is.. do you guys think it would be legit if you saw a racer wearing one(broadening the sport and showing we're not all homos), or do you think it would be gay?

 
Unless the helmet has aerodynamic disadvantages and is going to slow you down I don't see why not. It would look pretty silly to see a racer wearing xxxxxxl thug clothes though, not so much because of the clothes but I think it would slow you down a bit.
 
uh i race in a red g9, its like 5 yearss old and probably wouldnt be able to with stand the impact if i fell but whatever
 
yup i race too, i have a marker helmet with a mouthguard for slalom and and smith variant brim for GS/park.

does that mean ur gonna race slalom without a mouth guard?
i saw a kid lose eight or ten teeth doing that when i was like 8 years old, and have never raced slalom without one after. i've taken a few gates to the mouth guard too, so i'm glad it's there
 
word dude just do what ever you want, if you start caring about what others think its not gonna be fun at all, you can't make everyone happy the most important thing is that you're out there shredding the gnar gnar.
 
g10s are legit, i have a fuse and its pretty much the same. they are probably pretty aero too so good for racing as well.
 
just do two helmets, i used to race with a carerra fireball and then switch to the g10 on park days cause its mad comfy
 
whpo are you raciong for if a g10 or a red helmet are legal? By me the helmets must have ahrd ears and a chin gaurd is recommended.
 
bahahaha i wear all my park clothes, 2XL an all in every race, i just have Rossi race skis for it

still make top 30 without a GS suit

you'd look dope, i wear the bibs over my coat (stracth them for the GS suit kids)
 
honestly this is the dumbest thread ever,, i couldnt see how anyone could care what kind of a helmet you wear.. where are you from the south.. dont be so insecure
 
nice i woulde never buy a gs suiit either. I raced in my super baggy pants. I loved racing but i would rather buy some new pow skis instead of a gs suit.
