A question to all the Midwest skiiers out there

If you're anything like me, you hate the Midwest and wanna get the hell outta here ASAP for some better skiing. As soon as I have the chance, I'm moving out west. Where do you guys plan to go to escape the Midwest for good?

When I graduate from college I want to move to Bozeman and find a job or maybe Jackson, Wyoming.

But first I'm going to Iceland for some traveling (road biking around the Ring Road)

Living 5 hours from Denver just makes me feel like that's my home. I'll always love the Colorado mountains.

I plan on getting a nursing degree so I can go where ever the hell I want. I at the moment am leaning to the yellowstone area or SLC. But that wont happen for the next 4 years so who knows.

When I moved out of Minnesota I went straight for Oregon and Washington. Lived in Utah for years, now I'm back out west. I like the coast because it reminds me of the big woods in the midwest.

Im just making sure i go to college out west preferably in colarado or utah and then i'll just live out there once(if) i graduate

I dont know where you are in the midwest but get to Minnesota and Wisconsin. Tow ropes and some quality parks are all over the place. I can literally drive to 3 different quality parks less than 45 minutes away. Dont even get me started with urban in Minnesota. Duluth is urban heaven. So so many of the big and small filmers are getting their crew here for shots. Yes, I will be leaving when I go away for college but I have no hatred towards the Midwest.

I'm also trying to get out of here (at least for college). That being said growing up in south minneapolis has been sick. I definitely don't wish I had grown up anywhere else.

Check out Northern Michigan University. Solid urban crew with lots of really good spots in a small radius, Marquette Mountain is 10 minutes away and some of the best camping I have ever seen anywhere is within 20 minutes of campus.

I wanted to go out west for school and i am honestly so happy i ended up in Marquette as a plan B.

Moved to Seattle bc I didnt believe all the rain rumors and how it basically rains in the mtns all year (including winter). Needless to say, skiing with a garbage bag over your jacket for 80% of the winter sucks. Most resorts aren't even open yet out here. I'm moving to Montana, Salt Lake City, or Denver next yr for better snow conditions.

Moving out to colorado next fall, have get out of this shitty area. i mean come on, it is 47 degrees and raining today, its december 15, what the the hell.
