i would like to understand why are you so 'against bush' and so few 'for kerry'? i mean, democrats are so aggressive towards bush: many pointless and free arguments like 'he is stupid, he's a killer, ...'.

are so little sure of your candidate being right and having a clear project for america and the world?

PS: the fact that i was maybe an 'easy criticizer' and maybe a little aggressive before is not an answer. please, tell me why seriously.

personally i believe he made the absolute wrong decision in going to war with iraq and diverting troops from fighting terrorism. iraq had no WMDs, Iraq did not harbor terrorists before we got there(saddam and osama HATED each other!)

granted saddam is a bad guy who should not be in power that was not a priority for our country!

being a young person about to enter the real world from college i see countless jobs leaving this country with no resistance from our president, i see no tax breaks for the young trying to get started and less fortunate, in fact i have had to pay taxes each year, i have NOT gotten a return. i see the prices of tuition for college rising quite quickly making it very difficult for someone who pays for everything themselves extremely difficult.

those are my reasons plus some more that i am anti bush. i am not necesarily pro kerry but i see a better choice with him than with bush.

1. Since his first day in office he has worked against the best interests of America. His assaults on the environment -- many of them small enough to escape notice -- have consistently favored corporate profits at the expense of clean air, clean water, and truly healthy forests.

2. His mismanagement of our economy has driven us into debt of historic magnitude, while turning the gap between rich and poor into a chasm.

3. Tax cuts! He is trying to cut taxes while fighting two expensive wars, which really is a mythical 'war on terrorism' (it was in 2001, and we took care of it!).

4. Bush is constanly misleading us, promising one thing and delivering another. he called tax cuts his 'job and growth package.' He calls opening ancient forests to logging his 'healthy forest initiative.' He says he must wage war to protect us from 'the most dangerous weapons known to man.' He will continue to mislead us for 4 more years if we vote for him again!

5. He ignores the issues of importance to women, gays, and the poor.

6. His education program relies a lot on testing schools that can know longer teach what they know best, and since Bush has failed to fund the program suffiecently, many states are raising taxes to meet federal requirements.

7. Bush does NOT have the ability to provide steady leadership, even though Kerry isn't the best president... he sure is better than Bush.

There are many more reasons to support Kerry. I'm not a big fan of Kerry, but you could say that I'm a big protestor of bush, we need to get the asshole out of the white house. I wouldn't mind seeing a list of why Bush should stay in office. I get the feeling that the cons outweigh the pros.

i like kerry's policies more, especially on the environment, he'll bring more respect for our country, and i would prefer that he appoints the new supreme court justices. not too difficult to understand. besides the fact, if we know we hate bush and don't like what he's done for the country, why would we vote for him? i'd rather take my chances on new leadership than vote for a proven fuck up.

why hate? well a lot of families lost loved ones in a war. i think thats reason for their hate. do i hate, no i just dont agree with his decisions. i wouldnt go as far as saying people hate bush, they just choose to show their disdain for him very outwardly. mostly because this is an election year and how is the best way to grab the most attention???

punk_rider, i think clinton was a pretty damn good president. when he was president, our economy was doing fairly well. no major conflicts with anyone either that i can think of right now. whether he cheated on hiw wife and screwed around with his intern is his own business. it doesnt make the news if a factory worker cheats on his wife, or if a business man hasa relationship with his secretary, why should it matter for the president? he's a human being like anyone else, entitled to the same rights to privacy as you and i.

as for hate when their son/daughter relative dies for a war they didnt believe in that is reason for hate! it may be there job to fight in these wars but it is the presidents job to make informed decisions that his constituents (us) would want him to make, not to go after the guy that tried to kill his daddy!

i did watch the debates and all i heard was Kerry insulting Bush. He never mentioned his plan. I just got back from fighting in Iraq. i've been there for 14 months. you have no idea how much good is coming out of there right now. i'd go back in a second as long as Bush is in office. and i can tell you at least 95% of my company thinks the same way

kosovo and serbia... those were UN missions we didnt go against the UN in going there we were part of a UN team. Iraq we ignored the UN. Anyway bush ran for presidency on domestic policy reform, i have yet to see any. Considering from the minute he stepped into office he was trying to find ways to get into iraq. how many times has his reason for going into iraq changed? 3!

altaman for every soldier over there that is a bush fan i am sure there are just as many kerry fans. i know several people over there who have a very high dislike for bush even a veteran of the gulf war i know DESPISES bush's decisions means and methods of the iraq war.

no offence but as a soldier you are fed propoganda, plain and simple. as a soldier you are broken down and built back up to what the service wants you to be. i commend you for joining the military i think that is great and i will support our troops no matter what, however i will not support a commander in chief who makes decision after decision that i whole heartedly disagree with.

The only reason I have any hope in Kerry is I feel like he has a chance to rebuild our reputation in the international community. I am scared what the world will think of us in 4 years of Bush is still president. I am not saying that the international community should dictate our policy, but I feel like our country is doomed for fututre generations without the support of the international community. It feels like much of our problems with terrorism stem from the resentment towards our country. Bush is not responsible for this resentment, but I feel as though he is doing little to change the tides. I would like to see a president try and fight the war on terror with their minds and not their muscles. I would like to see what could happen if we can put the 87 billion into fixing relations in the middle East.

^If kerry was a hippie nader wouldnt be running. he isnt really very liberal at all. he is definetly better than bush though. kerry wants to raise taxes. but only on people making over 200 grand a year. do you know how much that is? my dad makes right around there and we definetly dont need that much and shouldnt be making that much. do you think that people like me should have a trust fund or to you think that people who are poor should have health insurance?

As I said in my first post 'Bush is not responsible for the resentmenlet towards our country'. By ignorring the whishes of the UN (who I think is a joke anyway) and the rest of the international community. Let me remind you that he did not give the inspectors a chance to finish their work. Was this war that urgent? Did Iraq pose such and immediate threat that we could not have waited until the inspectors were done? When you see it from the international communities standpoint it looks like we are war hungry mongrels who have no regard for the whishes or opinions of others. Are we that great the we should invade a country whithout the help of other countries( 'You forgot Poland!' www.youforgotpoland.com). Terrorism is an international problem, and we need a president who will treat it as such. We need a good reputation in the international community in order to gain the allies needed in a war as big as this one (terrorism). We will only gain allies when the international community begins to trust and support us.
