A promo video of a random ripper from england hes pullin kangaroo flips

hes preety good so far, dont dig the pants but his promo vid is preety sick, if he held his grabs a little longer hed be even sicker but thats just being critical.. hes the best english skier ive ever seen.. exept maybe pikey..
 
leigh is super sick, nice guy too. knocked himself out on that last shot, was pretty scary.

i'm guessing thats what a couple seasons in whistler does to you
 
Yeah seriously. If you are going to do a promo, show him actually landing the tricks. Editing comes secondary in an edit because well... who the fuck cares when you can't see the whole trick?

By the way, that was fucking baller anyways.
 
yeah, that's how it works, you just turn up in november and then 120 days of skiing later you're absolutely shredding in the park...

exactly, it doesn't matter how many seasons you do, if you aren't naturally good then you'll never be this good.
 
leigh has been riding whistler for 2 years, and chamonix before that. he knocked himself out on the kang flip you see him crashing on in the promo, he landed the one you saw but he washed out and i told him to leave the wash out in there, but he's picky. he's stomped 5 or 6 of them before they started filming.

hes a super good kid, and hopefully he'll blow up this year.
 
he does a roo flip at about 2:53. they dont show him landing it but it looks like he spins the last 180 so much earlier than jon does. like he could almost get another 180 on it.
 
for real.. he cut to different angles on a lot of shots for the landings. kid slays for sure but that is a little wierd
 
Definatly got skills. But honestly what is the point of using poles if they're less than 2 feet long?

Acctually I'l answer my own question, so you don't get hated on by random idiots on NS who can't accept that no poles is legit
 
The point of having short poles is so that they don't get in the way when you're skiing park but they can still be used when you're stuck in the lift line or on the flat stuff.
 
i ski in europe havent been to whistler in ages... hence havent seen the kid ski, he rips though and his kangaroos are almost like a double mchuck flip but on skis and of a booter not in the pipe.
