im always bored. sure i work, but after work and on weekends theres never anything to do, ever. no one wants to do anything or they are working and the most eventful thing ive done since i got back from mammoth is go to a movie or two. its like i dont belong anywhere, in mammoth the people i hung out with were just like acquaitences compared to my hs friends so when i got back here i was all stoked to hang out with them but they all are kinda doin their own thing and not really doin the hs thing any more. so what the hell? i dont really belong anywhere and its kinda depressing

I think that most people get that feeling after hs. I think everyone is just trying to figure their own shit out. It can really suck, but that's life. I felt like I didn't really have any real friends my whole first year, but then over forty people showed up to the bar for my bday and I realised that there are a lot of people that care about me. Just do your own thing, things will start looking up. Idea, see if you can hang out with people from work. Even if you don't think they're the greatest people, you may make other friends through them.

Yeah after high school i'm ski bumming for a year, which could present the friend problem. but then it's to college where it won't be possible to go friendless

I've been in and out of college since I graduated (high school) 2 years ago in winters I live at a local resort in WV. But I like skiing alot so I deicded to move to UTah where college is right next to badass skiing. None of my friends would come they are all pussies and scared of leaving their hometown where they live at their moms and dont do anything. So what I moved out here and I'll make new friends you can't let your friends hold you back from doin your thing. Do what you love and friends that love the same shit will eventually follow. I think so anyway...

I hate how people call it a 'group'. It makes it seem like you can only have certain friends that way cause ur in that 'group'...
