A new ski game

You should add a button for tail presses. Like J for the skier to lean on his toes and n for him so lean back and crouch for tail presses
 
So just for clarification, what controllers work on the PC?

Does a wired PS3 controller work? Does a non-wired PS3 controller work?

Do any non-wired controllers work?

Do wired Xbox 360 controllers work well?

Do aftermarket Wired PS3/Xbox360 controllers work?

Yes a wired PS3 controller works. You can set it up so it's wireless (I haven't tried on a PC) but you need to have a wire plugged in to set it up.

As far as I know, you need to have a wired controller. The power chord for an xbox won't work either.

the 360 controller works just as well as the PS3 controller

Some aftermarket wired controllers might work, but the mapping for them will be off. I'll have to figure out a solution to that because there's a few people who've tried.

Basically it's:

Mac with PS3 controller: As long as you have v10.6 and up you just have to plug the controller in and press the middle button and it works



Mac with Xbox controller: You have to download the Tattiebogle driver. I have a link for it on the site. If the controller isn't responding go into System preferences and under "Other" you should see the icon for the driver. Open that up and see if it works.



PC with Xbox/ PS3 controller: You have to download the Motionjoy driver. I have a link along with instructions for mapping the triggers. I really wish I could have made it simpler to get the controller working on a PC but this was the best driver I found. I guess not enough people play games on a computer using a controller to justify making a consistent set of drivers that work for all controllers.

Awesome, thanks so much man. I just went out and bought a Nyko PS3 controller because nobody carried a 1st party one. Hopefully it works somewhat.

So I have already spent money on your game but it isnt in your pocket... thats not right.
 
I'm using a ps3 controller and triangle is reset, there is no pop/speed button, and grabs/spins work normally. That's all I can do.

Stop being silly.

This game absolutely NEEDS a controller. Subtle stick movement is the fabric of what makes it awesome.
 
ahhh okay. I will now. I have an xbox controller with a usb charger but does that work? I have no way to test it because I am not home and will not be for a week.
 
what u should add next is a coupe different characters get a b dog a e dollo and a stept combo rider get some long hair cpa hoodie and some tan pants also get some reverse tom wallisch boots also get a really good combo of a pro liike tom gus bobby woodsy all together
 
I have absolutely nothing to do with this game. Straight up - Malcolm developed this in his free time.

TBH - I was sort of shocked when he showed it to me recently. I kind of thought he was just fucking around with Unity for a trampoline game. I guess it evolved.

 
Malcolm, I'm having some troubles with my Xbox controller on Mac. I've downloaded the necessary driver and the controller shows up in the driver program. When I try to play with the controller, none of the buttons work and the green light around the middle button that usually indicates that the controller is on is not illuminated. I can't seem to turn it on when it's connected to the computer, but it works fine with my Xbox. Please help!
 
I started with the controller but im leaning to the keyboard now cause there is more stuff to do on the jumps.

Malcolm you should put the lincoln command to r2 l2 because you cant straight up linocln with the computer.

ALSO PLEASE *************DONT REMOVE THE BOOOST :( **************
 
im having trouble setting up the ps3 controller on pc, ive done everything that was supposed to be done and it wont work, if anyone has tips please let me know so i can figure this out. thanks
 
damn malcolm you made a sick game!

I love how realistic it is and the tweaked safety is $$$

but i agree with some guy that the lincoln should be on r2 l2

and will you do the shadow realistic?

One other thing would be that you could change clothes easily like in jibbin would be sick.

2 last questions: have you ever thought of making a mode like game of s.k.a.t.e. on snow online?

in what program did you make this game?

should be a restart on top of all of the cliffs on the left side, that would make the game killer. also should be able to jump a little bit higher on flat ground
