It is the same as me saying all Native Americans are crack dealers who sit on their ass all day living in their feces, or all black people wanting to kill each other, or all Mexicans being drug runners and illegals that steal cars. Im dumbfounded that this representative thought this was even going to help further his view. People get turned off by stupid shit like this. I dont know why he even thought this would help stop that bill.

While its easy to see this guy made a mistake and its prob bad he's representing people. There are tons of representatives flying under the radar(in a national sense...people in their district are pissed), that are not representing the people in their district.

The worst part about all this is that the GOP has its head up its ass. The GOP has an amazing opportunity to go back to traditional conservative values and bring the party back to what it once was and be able to get conservatives back in office in 2010, but then you have representatives doing this...and people trying to go the moderate route(this did not work with mccain)

Fuck the republican party right now(I am not just talking about this video) they need to get their shit together.
 
yeah. the republican party needs to get their act together. they could take back the office if they knew what the hell they were doing but its hard to trust anybody anymore. The republicans are just as fucked up as the democrats.

having said that, this video was fucked up. as much as i hate this "universal healthcare" package, selling out your grand-daughter as a prop is just morally wrong.

Hopefully they do self destruct. Like, not just fall apart, like I mean literally, the members of both parties pull a self destruct explosion like the Death Star took an explosion in Return of the Jedi. Get some freshmeat in the system that aren't all pretentious douchebags out for themselves.

yeah, thats were obama has an upper hand is not being so fucked up politically as some other members of our congress are.

this is how you explain politics. if we elect a republican president, the opposition (democrats) will criticize every move the republican president makes to the point where the democrats convince the public that the republicans are evil and out-of-control and we boot them out and elect a democrat president and for 4 years the opposite happens. on and on the cycle goes and in another 4 or 8 years we will have a very conservative republican president. although, its seems like every election the politics gets worse and worse.

I fucking hate America. I can't stand the way we treat other people, the way we treat ourselves, and the selfishness that permeates everything we do. Seriously? A baby? This and all the other news right now is just sad. The Repubs can't do shit but slander everybody, and if they do accomplish something, it's fucking up everyone's civil rights, and the Dems can't do anything but sit on their asses and spend money on everything BUT helping win civil rights campaigns. YAY.

No. We need bullets and human targets. We start with the pundits and move up to the House of Representatives, and then individual state legislators. We need to kill everyone in there and elect a whole new set of politicians.
 
He is a representative of a place in arizona, not of all republicans. Even then he probably only had probably a few percent(maybe more) over half of the votes in his district.

This is definitely laughable and shouldn't appeal to the logical side of anyone, but I don't see how it is really despicable. It made him look stupid, but I thought it was funny that the little baby really wanted that microphone.
 
Republican party ruined it for themselves. A whole generation and a half thinks they are complete morons, and that the democrat party is only a moron...as in not a complete moron. We are college educated and shit......the republicans seem like fucking bums you pick up on the street. They just don't argue intelligently or anything.

They both need to win trust of American people back, the democrats are doing a better job of it with a populist message that appeals to 99% of the people.

Unfortunately the 1% can afford to have the same shitty career politicians running over and over again....and then each party dislikes it when say another democrat challenges an incumbent at the next primary because the incumbent could lose the votes needed to win. Like what some people say Nader did.....by having Nader run he stole votes from the democrat running...and him not running would have put the democrat in the white house, but instead nader and the democratic front runner lost.

 
If you have been paying attention, most of the slander directed at the American people has come directly from Nancy Pelosi and Obama's cabinet. Obama himself has slandered the American people as well. I don't give a shit what politicians say to eachother because I expect that kind of behavior from them, but the second Pelosi and her elitist ilk, or any politician right or left, start to insult the people who pay their salaries, I get pissed off. And selfishness is a human trait, not an American trait. don't kid yourself.
 
I saw this live on c-span and I was disgusted. Brings a bad name to the republican party. Instead of this ridiculous 2,--- page bill we should try and fix what we ALREADY HAVE. It would be a ton easier and cheaper. Is there any common sense in this country anymore??
 
Don't get me wrong, I hate what the Dems are doing. They're sneaky assholes and quite frankly, I'm happier knowing that the Repubs are wearing their hate on their sleeves rather than hiding it by dragging their feet, lying, underfunding and silence like the Dems.
Also, I'd like to hear what Pelosi said. I hate that bitch, but I haven't been dealing with mainstream politics lately so I've missed a bunch of everyone's shenanigans.
Ugh. Now I get to see what happens with NOM in New Jersey and New York. I am hating life right now.
