So I am thinking, and I know that this is wayyyyy early, but next season all the NS people from MT should get together and go skiing someplace. Is this of interest to anyone? Location is something we should consider if anyone is interested.

We could also do something this summer at Logan Pass if people are interested. I have wanted to do a couple day session up there and stay at Avalance campground or something. Lets discuss this.
 
Seeing how most people that ski here are either broke ass collage students, who have enough shit to do with college and skiing, or broke ass highschoolers/middleschoolers that prob wont be able to travel very much and are lazy as hell.

But, if you organize it, i will consider going.
 
I'll be at Beartooth Pass over memorial day weekend, we should do it then. Other than that, I'm just skiing around Bozeman all next year and I probably won't have money to drive to the Kalispell area.
 
See, I was thinking of doing Big Sky or Bridger. I would say that at least 1/2 of the active members are from the Bozeman Area, so that takes care of a good deal of the broke ass college/high schoolers in Bozeman. I would be happy to road trip down and bring people with me as I hit different towns, but I think it would be fun to get 30 NSers together and rip the shit out of a mountain for a day.
 
not a bad idea, i think bozeman would be the place, i've never skiied there but it sounds dope, it would be sick to have a big session up in glacier also
 
sounds good to me. Itd be sick just ro ride with fellow NSers condsidering its just me an david that i know of at my mountain.
 
I will do some research in the fall, to figure out when it will be convinient. Meaning it will not be on a Ussa weekend or Montana comp date
 
i'll take that challenge, when i roll up you will think chemlawn is in town with all that greem.
 
I got buds. What day is it gonna be? like it matterrs. We could try to marathon and smoke bowls in all 29ish? of big skys smoke shacks.
 
29? i have a hard time believe that, i would say 10-15 tho. ive only been at like 5-6
 
Or, this just occured to me, we could do two of them. One at Big Sky, and one at Big Mtn. That would cut down on driving time for some people, and whoever could attend whichever anyone wanted to.
 
its not that i live a sheltered life, its just that i dont do any comps or am on the freestyle team because id rather ski with my bestfriends wherever i want then have to put up with spending 400 dollars plus to ski with kids i dont usually talk too. Not too make me seem like an ass, thats just not my cup of tea.
 
Dude it was just a joke. What you're doing is what skiing is all about, being out with your friends having fun. There is no higher aspiration in skiing in that.
 
I would def be down for something like that. I have skied with a good majority of the people responding to this thread, and everybody seems pretty chill. I say we all hit up big sky for a weekend sometime after January 23'd. Session the big mountain for a day and then go through and rip park the next, just have a good time with it. That is a sick idea. Oh and then we can take a 3rd day and dedicate it to the stoners, and see how many shacks we can find. Sounds like a fun ass weekend if you ask me. Lets continue this planning.
 
david i took it as a joke, so dont feel bad, no hard feelings or anything. Thats why i hate leaving messages you cant read emotion.
 
Just for that, you will have to come up to Kicking Horse with me next year. It is sooo amazing. The skiing is off the hook!
 
It's been almost a month since I went skiing and I'm going crazy. There's a few other factors though, like having all of my friends out of town, no job, and a girlfriend who won't hang out with me anymore. But I'm going to try to convince myself that it's from skiing.
 
Oh, I already got that covered. I hiked the "M" last night, and in that time I took about 9 shots of vodka. That made my week a bit hazy! Sacajawea will be open soon enough though, so I'll be like a fat kid in a candy store then.
