A MESSAGE TO NS AND TANNER.

Tanner, I don’t even know what to say. The fact that you know who I am is already a huge compliment! I think you are doing more for our sport than anyone and you are a huge influence. I am still in shock that you wrote that to me, haha.

I did not mean to make such a big deal out of this whole thing and I probably should not take stuff so seriously. Sometimes it is hard to not get caught up in little things, and I think it is especially true in the summer when most of us are really itchin to ski, waiting for snow. Looking back on it, I am sure Jacob did not mean to attack me directly and I probably over-reacted to it. I think the fact that now there are different styles and crews out there doin their own thing is really dope. Jacob is an incredible skier and I respect him for that, plus he has been around and been doing it for years. I am sorry for making a post about the Armada Interview, I should have just laughed it off.

This whole thing is part of a bigger issue though. Not everyone has to like everyone’s style or the way they ski. All that hate in the industry is fueled from insecurities anyways, and I should just ignore it. We are really lucky to have such a tight knit community filled with people who have 1 big thing in common…we all love to ski. People love it so much sometimes that they want to protect it from changing or branching off into other segments. Not everyone is the same though, and it is not my job or anyone else to make them change. I think people should ride the way they want to ride. If you don’t like a specific style then don’t ski that way. As long as you and your crew are having fun, then it is all good. I am chalking this one up as a learning experience for me.

Thanks for all the support. keep it G

word, good to see such comraderie from such different skiers. Although im not a fan of afterbang i still respect your style bro(gan). i mean hey i was skeptical of tanners gorilla steez at first, but as you see someone ski more and more you have no choice but to respect their individuality, everyone skis different.

its funny how broggz writes this nice heartfelt thing then finishes it off with a ghetto ending

ooo and im glad he respects my style the one with all the falls

fuck you you almost afterbanged my face off at windells

jk man keep it real, lovin the BANG just not on the trampoline k lolz bai

i hate fucking after bang, i hate you brogan

im soooooo kidding its not even funny, i love it, im glad to see some new style being brought to this sport, keep on shreddin the gnar brah!

wow much respect to you jon brogan. i personally like afterabng and think its sick as hell but i could see very easily why people would not like it. and i feel the same way about style and skiing as you i only wish some kids from a couple towns over could feel the same way. anyways again i have gained much respect for you from that post

Im still waiting for the bang to make an appearance in the BC, but I guess that wait will be over when slamina comes out? right???~

no doubt a legit response by brogan. one has to question however whether he would have ever produced such a mature and reasoned response if it wasn't for Tanner weighing in

Jon Brogan, I won't lie, after your last thread I had you written off as a just another bratty skier with some talent. You probably won't read this, and you probably won't care, but I'll say what I want to say anyway. This post shows incredible insight and wisdom that you haven't shown before. Much respect man, for a few reasons.

1) No caps lock, finally

2) Grammar and punctuation, woohoo!

Thank you for showing me that you have something more to offer skiing, not just in talent but in intelligence as well.

word.
