most law enforcement have secret quotas to meet as well. if they can't go after cartels with warehouses of tens of deadly drugs with ak's then they go after middle aged men who have a recreational shotgun and a state legal weed greenhouse.

laws so absurd are able to be changed by the people (I recognize it's hard as shit but it has been known to happen). I don't understand why there aren't more rallies, organized groups and awareness of the topic. posting a video on an online forum isn't going to do shit. Call your congressman, organize a rally or go out and educate people.
 
This is so fucked up. I really don't see the problem with legalizing this shit and taxing the hell out of it. Shit i would pay twice as much for weed if it was legal and taxed if i knew it was coming from a legit source (not cartels/criminals).

I have yet to hear a good argument for why it shouldn't be legal and taxed imagine the revenue... Can't both parties agree that they would like some of that $$$???
 
very true. i live in montana and have watched / read all of this go down. and this is not the worst story at all. another legal ( under montana state law) caregiver who had a terminal illness got raided, got 80 plus years as well, only differences is this guy was so sick, and the jailers ignored his cries of agony, and by the time they took him to the hospital it was to late, he died in the hospital bed still cuffed to the bed. not till he was dead did they take the cuffs off. shits so fucked. ill post the link of the story and news report when i can. really sad stuff if you ask me.
 
With your posts I always have a mixture of feelings. I kind of want to burst out hysterically laughing, and I kind of want to just smash my face in my keyboard.
 
See but the thing is he was growing for medical users and in Montana it was still legal to have a caregiver then a new law came in taking away all of the dispences and they started to try and fuck over everyone who was growing in larger quantities. I actually heard this guy is super nice and very caring for others, i live in Missoula only a couple hours away from where this all happened.
 
if i was that dude, i would probably say, well son, when you can travel by your self, come to mexico

and then i would illegally cross the border, like dude, 80 YEARS, he looks like such a chilll good dude,

in way way does he deserve even 5% of his sentence
 
how can you give a rapist a lesser sentence than someone who was complying with state laws and taking every precautions necessary to make sure he wasn't breaking any laws! I am sure if they just sent him a letter telling him to stop he would of but instead they raid his busness and lock him up for the rest of his life, if i lived in us i would start protesting right now that is ridiculous
 
It may have been legal in Montana but it was illegal in the United States. How do people not understand that your business and rights can be taken away if you break the law?
 
I don't think anyone is too surprised of the concequences. more of the fact that the DEA still bothers to enforce these laws when such a high percentage of people think it should just be legal.
 
I've gone to hemp fest and smoke regularly in public, and exercise my rights. I would be game for more marijuana rallies. The cannabis world need something like occupy wall street, have smart individuals give speeches about cannabis; people gather around the white house and burn all they can, until Obama comes out of his hole and smokes a joint with the American people.

I am actually thinking about getting some friends together and collaborating on a letter to a congressman. I like that idea man. Feds going after medical marijuana like they are cartel is beyond fucked.

 
If you've never smoked, would you know the difference between medical marijuana and non-medical marijuana? No. Would you know that marijuana is not dangerous? Maybe, but probably not. Would this lead to any conclusion that the USA is fucked? No. You're a dumbass.
