A Little Help-Laptop

Im looking for a new laptop.Max $2200.

I want to edit some videos,download music,make some dvds and cds,browse the internet,edit pictures,and talk online.A little gaming.

So i want-

a minimun of

60 gig harddrive

1.7ghz proccesser

512mb memory

15 in screen

4hr battery life(because it will be used to travel some)

and a dvd and cd BURNER

I was looking at an apple powerbook 15 inch,cyber power xplorer x64-9000,hp pavillion zd8000 or a dell inspiron 9300.Which do you think would be best and why?Thanks in advance.

I've been buying dell inspiron 6000d's for the guys here at work and for the price they are really good. 15.4 WVGA and all kinds of upgradable specs but you could still keep it under your range.

Do not go dell Movie software is no where near as good but if u go mac make sure it has a super drive for burning DVDs i made that mistake so now i am getting a new imac G5 and just a 12 inch power book for email and surfin the web You can also buy chip upgrades for the mac that will give you more memory for edits and videos

 
what does a mac 1.5ghz proccesser translate to when compared to an intel proccesser?The same or different?Im a little concered that if i go apple that it wont be as powerfull as a computer with intel.Thanks
