A list of Movies to see

Since this is a epic long thread already... what are some mellow, well filmed movies? Even independent films. Just want something that i can relax and watch without getting pissed off at the plot. Or movies that relate to modern/pop culture.

fucking loved that.

I watched another foreign movie the same night I watched that.

It's called "It's not me, I swear!"

It's a French flick. I enjoyed it very much so.

Hmm...odd but I only watched like the first 2 minutes and it didn't have subtitles so IDK if something was wrong or if there arn't subtitles until later on..

i dont know if anyone likes short films but if you do watch Logorama its sick its animated with all logos like ronald mcdonald and shit but the just shoot each other its awesome and everyone will love it

Everyone go see 127 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!

It's the movie about Aron Ralston the hiker who had to cut his arm off. It is amazing you will not be disappointed

if you understand French, watch "Bienvenue chez les ch'tis."

I think its translated to "Welcome to the sticks"

One of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

Heard amazing things about this, wanna see it so bad, looks incredible, plus Mila Kunis is in it, so..... must watch because apparently lesbo scenes between her and Nathalie.

just hope i can find time over the break to see it

just watched "Requiem for a Dream" last night- shit's heavy.
also, No Country for Old Men and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (Le Scafandre et le Papillon) are up there. check them out for sure

it's so sick.

such a mind fuck. I love Aronofsky. He's only had one major flop if you think about it. Pretty good for a filmmaker who emerged out of the the last few years before Y2K.

I'm eager to see his take on Wolverine 2 and robocop. He'll probably make such a crazy visual spin on things. He's got a great sense of frame and space.

I'm gonna go see biutiful next week. woo.
