A lift to service just freeway and park lane

would rock, and make breck about 1000X better, make lines so much less...

So what I did, and what i ask of you, is to email breck and ask for a poma, rope tow, or t-bar to be put in to service just freeway and park lane, may not do anything but the more people that do it the better it would be.
 
exactly what i meen though, not chair five that anyone could use...something that only serviced park so you wouldn't get all the ski school and shit, my other idea was to make all of what lift 5 serviced terrain park....that would be huge, but they for sure won't do that because alot of learning area is serviced by 5, which leads to huge lines there and at colorado chair, so a poma, rope tow is the way to go...especially rope tow so you can just use it for a few features instead of the whole way....
 
sounds like a good idea...and if they enforced park passes next year the people w/ park passes could only ride the tow..sounds good cause 5 chair is packed
 
but you must realize, that would actually make sense. And we are dealing with vail resorts here.....hehe
 
yeah that would be an awesome idea, like they could use powerline (the run to the right of the chair) and make it like a really cool rail/jib park or something. or they could like take out the trees seperating powerline from park lane and combine it to make one extremely cool park. if they did this they would have the best park in colorado easily. that lift is perfect for a park lift, and powerline sucks alot anyway, its just a shitty flat run, gaypers dont even like it.
 
oh i thought you were talking about a lift that puts you close to both parks. but that is exactly what breck needs to be as good as keystone.
 
Ya but the only reason the A51 lift isn't full of gapers is because it doesn't go to the bottom of the hill. That couldn't really happen at Breck with Freeway and park lane at the bottom.
 
unless they made it park pass, and a51 lift park pass too, just a pass for all vail resorts big parks, don't make it expensive, like 5 bucks, just watch a 15 min. video, Put the video online for people who are coming out of town so they can pre-order their park pass, it would also decrease injuries and maybe lower insurance. And 5 bucks isn't that bad...
 
^^you know without front rangers or day-ticket buyers you wouldn't have much skiing right? Think about it, you buy a season pass for 439, a single day ticket is 81 dollars, you pay off your pass in 6 days, people that buy 1 day tickets ten times a season (which people do), pay for parking, and buy food make way more profit for the mountain then you do. Without these people blowing away there money you would have a 900-1200 dollar season pass, can you aford it? I can't, and that is why you don't hear me bitching about texans or out-of towners.
 
they can fence off the exits of park lane and freeway and feed them into the lift and they stagger them so people can get out of the parks. and not put the lift all the way at the bottom where lift 5 is put it up higher near the tree line so if the gapers want on they are gonna have to hike.
 
if they just turned powerline into a park they wouldnt have to make it a park only lift, it would thin out the gaypers alot just cause that lift would be pretty useless to them.
 
and think about it, they could be saving people from getting really bad injuries, and even saving peoples lives if they did something to thin out the gaypers using the park and that lift. some guy died this year cause he was most likely a gayper and went into the park not knowing what he was doing.
