A Lesson Learned

and for everyone out there if you make a summer rail, dont be a pussy and hit YOUR own rail first instead of your buddy hitting it and when the rail is more than a foot above the lip of the jump

haha the set up is sick now... this was one of the first hits and the tranny for the jump was super quick and the jump was kinda low... now the jump is high and the tranny is nice so you get put right up on the rail... the skis were 171 invaders that he bought in janurary and they are now broke as shit... were hoping that they are under warrenty

its a good setup but i like mine with the jump only a few inches below the rail because its easier to learn more tricks on that way

Sorry, I say too much flat. Looks like the surface is fast enough, but the dude lost all of speed on the flat. With that much flat between the dropin and the kicker, you'd run out of speed even if you had natural snow. The guy did pop, but by the time he got to the top of the kicker, he was almost stopped. I think if you bring the kicker 2 feet closer to the dropin, it will be better.

yeah it was too much flat... we lengthened the tranny for the jump and raised the jump up a bit so its a lot quicker and easier to get on. i wish we would have made it a bit closer to the ground tho because it is just high enough where you can really nut yourself if you fuck up
