why do you feel that you have to start a 'team' to ski

just ski with you crew you dont need to make some gay ass name and make shirts and hoodies and act like you own the moutain cause you dont

I dont mean to be a dick or anything but even if you do own the place, it's kind of big headed to seriously be sayin yea we own the place, everyone knows us. Just my opinion though.

 
^ very tru and at the oct rail jam they did own the place in the begginin of the jam by cuttin in front of everyone and hittin the box 3 times more than the majority of the people there. So i would agree they own the place, but I just hope in the winter they arent snaking people like they did at the jam.

^^yeah seriously, if you own the mountain why dont you respect people visiting for a rail jam and not cut everyone, plus the matchin shirts and ridiculous rags just brings skiing back to 1995 when it was 'RAD' and when people thought skiers were conceited, seriously accept for a couple kids there i thought the skiing crew gave skiing a bad name at the RT jam, the snowboarders were chill, werent tryin hard to look awesome in there new clothes and gear

 
yeah i dunno about this while 'team' thing. like at blue there is definately a group of locals that you will always find there, we all know each other and ride with each other, skiers and snowboarders, so its like the local crew or whatever, but we dont all match and we dont talk like we own the place. skiing is not a team sport, lose the uniforms and go ski for yourself

 
so mothership ur against rags? I was wearing one, im with no team and ur gunna say im 1995. I wear whatever the fuck i want, not cause its cool or hip but because i like it. So if ur gunna dog someone for what we wear then i think its u who needs to go back to 95 when the skiers were all concieted pricks

 
I've been skiing at RT as long as some of these 'owners' have been alive. I'm just in it for the fun, could care less about a. what other people think about me b. the local 'clique'

Dont diss someone because they are wearing rags, Half the kids at the jam had either a rag, or were flying their number out their back pocket

Also, if you saw someone like Crighton or Dumont throw a cork 900 and they were wearing a rag, there is NO WAY you would say 'Nice trick, but your still gay, because you have a rag'

yeah i dont care about people wearin rags, i was more speakin about matchin outfitts and ridculous rags hanging off peoples heads and people riding that rail 10 times before half the crowd skiied it once, so i apologize cause you guys are right, in the end it really doesnt matter what someone wears, i guess i was being a little pesimistic, sorry dudes

 
i usually don't hate...but a few 'a-jibbers' just made all of you guys look like douchebags...especially the little kid that talked alot of shit...people would like you alot more if you'd just chill out and not tell people 'yeah we own roundtop'

yeah dude, we learned that in like, 3rd grade...although i guess it's understandable since most of the 'a-jibbers' probably haven't gotten to that level yet

ok I understand what evanoi or whatever his name is said BUT dude this isnt a normal terrain park jib wheres theres like 10 other jibs and jumps to hit. THERE WAS ONE JIB FOR A 150 PEOPLE! I spent most of my skiing at mt creek in nj and this place BY FAR as the most crowded terrain parks EVER and you always have like 20-30 people around but this jam at roundtop doesnt even compare. I mean seriously dude 'snake or be snaked' to me applys on a mountain with MANY jibs and jumps available to everyone but it certainly shouldnt apply that jam. And honestly i dont think any park ever has a 150 people tryin to hit everythin at once either. I mean lake plascid rail jam had 20 people in it! Big boulder rail or bail last year had 55 total competitors BUT NOTHING COMPARES to the roundtop jam and therefore people shold be more respect in this particular situation. Its common sense.

the whole team thing is understandable... they've been best friends since their voices popped and they thought racing was the shit

if its your thing to ride as an individual cool... i do that mostly to... its better cause you have time to think about shit and clear your head...

if you look close enough its the shit... the families together killen it, older brothers passing it down to the younger, im jealous of it... they have their own style, don't we all

they just wanna ski... so my point is hit the fucking jump and stop worrying about who or what owns... cause as soon as you think someone owns something and you get pissed, they own you

hmm, i thought skiing was an individual sport. just go out and have fun with some friends, you dont have to be 'reppin from da hood yo wit yo a jibbas team' theres nothing i hate more than a bunch a people who brag, if your good let your skiing do the talking for u, not a team your on.

I'm all in favor of dropping the whole 'team' thing. Theres nothing wrong with going out and riding with your friends and having a good time, but the whole organized team/gang/clique thing just sounds stupid. It sounds like an intimidation force if you ask me. Strength in numbers is how you see it i guess. Why the hell can't everyone just get along and have fun. Skiiers and Boarders share the park and pipe. If everyone has respect, there shouldn't be a problem. Knowing that there is all of this bullshit at RT really doesn't make me want to take a trip up there this year.

everyone should chill out. maybe the rail jam made the a-jibbers look bad but the 2 or 3 comps ive skied with them they been pretty chill. they may be somewhat cocky but theyre all pretty much sick so they can be a little cocky

 
Hell yeah steve....Every mt has their group of riders that are the locals and ski more than anyone else...we have it at 7springs and we say the sammmme exact stuff. We know we own the mountain and so does everyone else. We chill at springs all summer and all winter so we have the right to own it.

I for one know that most A-Jibbers suck ass plus all of u are dicks a few of u are insane at skiing but most of u blow every competition i have been in with u i owned all of u cept stepp who is amazing and i had no problem beating him i look forward to the upcoming competition where i can beat u guys in skiing
