I cant find the thread after about 20 minutes so ill just say that this thread is in response to one about a month ago that asked: Could someone post how to add levels and grabs in clear easy

steps for people that are bad with computers. It would be sweet if you

would, and some links to downloads. Thanks

Adding levels:

Since most of the levels are put into a .rar file to upload

onto a file sharing site, you should download WinRAR before trying to download

any of the levels.

Download Here: http://www.win-rar.com/index.php?id=160&dl=wrar371.exe

1. Put the .b3d file in the custom levels-->level data folder

2. Make a folder in the custom levels folder and name it Textures

3. Put any pictures that are downloaded with the level into the textures folder

(textures may not show up... if you really want them-like for the 4frnt night

shoot level or the Jibbit level, you can replace one of the main levels in the

main folder and put the texture files in the main folder. I hope I explained

that well enough)

Hint: read the “How to install” text document that comes in

the folder that the level downloads with.

You can find many custom levels posted in the forum, just

click on Customs in the Index

Adding grabs:

1. Find a grab pack that looks good to you in the forum (by searching grabpack

im sure you can find multiple results)

2. Download by following the link and replace the other grab pack file

(cross_in6.b3d)

3. Change clothing file names accordingly... such as Down Jacket.jpg for packs

that don’t have many customizable options. or Front.png, Back.png, Arms.png for

the LRG pack or anything like that...

Hints/Tips:

Put any unused grabpack files in the goodies folder and name them something

that describes the pack

Keep the original pants and jacket files somewhere (the goodies folder is a

good place to keep files when you aren’t using them) in case you lose them

Also, if you need help, you can go to

the main folder, double click the folder “Manual”, then click on Manual.htm which

bring you to the jibbin manual made by the creators.

thanks man... heres a second part

HOW TO PUT CUSTOM CLOTHES AND SKIS IN THE GAME

Clothes-

All clothes are customizable using paint, photoshop, or any other editing software as long as you can save them in thse formats.

Many grab packs have a different way to add clothes to your character, which was not able to be done until Marer made the Ghetto Pack, then everyone else figured out how to do it.

So before you ask how to put custom clothes in the game, figure out which grab pack you have.

I doubt anyone can remember all of the different names of the files for the clothes, but i'll try to get all the ones I know of and can find.

All grabpacks come with all the images listed below, but if you renamed them and can't remember the right one, here they are.

For the ghetto pack aka LRG pack: put all images in the character folder

-front of the jacket = front.PNG

-back of the jacket = back.PNG

-arms and hood of jacket = arms.PNG

-pants = Pants tex.jpg (just like the default)

-bandana = bandana2.PNG

For Valtho's: again, put all files in the character folder

front and back of jacket = GhettoJacket.PNG

(the back of the jacket is the left half of the image, the front of the jacket is the right half of the image)

arms = ArmsUp.PNG and ArmsDown.PNG

hood = Cap.PNG

pants = PantsUp.PNG and PantsDown.PNG

undershirt hanging out of jacket = shirt.PNG

poles (i think they are customizable in the second version of this pack) = Pole.PNG

headphones (available in the newest update of this pack) = Headphones.PNG

custom skis for each side (only in this pack in the newest version of the pack) = LeftSki.JPG and RightSki.JPG

bandana = bandana2.PNG

boots = Boot.PNG

For jibbit's newest pack:

there aren't as many customable clothes for this one... BUT in the game there are many options to change the style of the clothes. I will explain... in the game, if you choose the A) the puffy jacket, you get the regular ghetto large jacket, large pants B) the jacket is less textured and the poles are a bit longer I am pretty sure or C) you choose the camo jacket wich gives you a baggy jacket, and tight pants... a bit too tight but its still progression in the game

jacket = Down JAcket.jpg

camo jacket = camo jacket.PNG (this is also the texture of the pants if you choose to wear the camo jacket)

pants = Pants tex.jpg

goggles = googles.jpg (not a spelling error on my part)

hat = hat.png

helmet (if you wear the plain beanie with no ball on top and no flaps) = hat - Kopi.png

poles = poles.jpg

long tee under jacket = shirt.jpg

gloves = gloves.jpg

fur around hood = fur.PNG

bandana = bandana2.png

Marty's grab pack:

everything is the same as the default pack other than:

poles = Pole.png

headphones (if you dont see the textures, then put this file in the main jibbing folder) = headphones.jpg

I think that is all of the grabpacks that are different for names of the files... any others that have the ghetto style will most likely be named the same as the original ghetto pack, or won't be customizable other than the bandana which is always the same name and can be edited in any pack with one on the guy in the game. IF YOU HAVE A GRABPACK WITH CUSTOMIZABLE CLOTHES, YOU WILL NOT SEE THEM IN THE "LODGE," YOU WILL ONLY SEE THE OUTCOME OF THE SETUP WHEN YOU ARE ON THE MOUNTAIN.

CUSTOM SKIS

You have 12 ski slots in the game to choose from, to get different skis while in the game, you can go to Character Setup, then Choose Skis and choose the ski that you want by clicking on the next and previous buttons.

To get new skis from the site:

1. go to http://jibbingame.com/index.php?menu=skis&page=skis

2. click on the company you want

3. click on the ski that you want

4. right click on the image and click save image as... now browse for the Skis folder in the main folder of jibbin and open that.

5. overwrite and existing file in the skis folder that you don't like as much as others... if you haven't overwritten the custom 1.jpg, custom 2.jpg, or the custom 3.jpg files these should be overwritten first otherwise you're erasing files that could be saved.

OR

search for custom skis in the forum and then follow steps 4 and 5 as stated above.

CREATE YOUR OWN CUSTOM SKIS

it is helpful to use an existing ski image and paint over it so that you get the right shape, lenght, and width of your custom skis.

1. open an existing ski image in paint or photoshop

2. customize them however you want (remember, the topsheet is the left half, the base is the right half)

3. save and overwrite the existing file that you opened, or save as... and overwite the file of your choice.

I think that is all... and all of this is from memory other than the visit to the http://www.jibbingame.com to get the link to the skis page, so correct anything you might know differently.

I haven't played Jibbin/Jibberish in at least a year or two but you get a bump and +karma for being a helpful badass.

*For the clothes though it says for example jacket named "ghettojacket.png" make sure that1. Its a PNG file2. That its name is "ghettojacket" no .png at the end same goes for "pantsup" "armsup" etc

Does anyone else get it when little pink dots show up around the skier, or the whole level partway through a level. I tried reinstalling and it just keeps happening, and it's really annoying.

when you are in character setup, which jacket do you use after you saved a design under ghettojacket.png

please quote and pm me i cant figure it out. +k and feedback if you do... thx
