City of God. It is based in the 60's and 70's and protrays the street lives and gangs of kids in Rio. It is an amazing movie and almost all the actors and actresses are real street kids from Brazil.

If you want one with clean cut good and bad affects, go with "The Reading Room." It's a newer movie and even though the ending sucked, the rest was still pretty good.
