so i just got back from a Younglife camp today to find out a friend had died in this car accident. it was a really sad story: ill make it simple

so 3 people were in the the car that had crashed and rolled. rachel was in the passengers seat withOUT a seatbelt on.

-she was thrown out the window and her back was broken

her best friend was in another car and saw the whole thing happen and saw her friend get thrown ou the car

they called 911 but they were 30 or so miles out of town so it took a while for the ambulance to get there

and rachel died in her best friend (emily's) arms that night.

i've never known anyone close to me who has died. and rachel was the nicest girl and loved to have fun and now she is gone and in heaven. RIP rachel.

yea I've already cried about it and i know that ill be fine. but i just think about her poor parents, like now they dont have to look forward to their daughters future, what will they do will all her belongings. because now all of the sudden their daughter is out of their life.

- i just think it would be so hard to lose someone close to you, especially a family member.

i dont know if its any consolation but my best friends dad passed away 2 years ago. I had known him since i was in second grade and he basically taught my friend and i how to ski. without him i would be nowhere where i am today. just keep in mind that itll get better with time just do what you normally. life goes on and keep the good memories.

my cousin died in a car crash a few weeks before christmas like 5 years ago. it was on the way home from a christmas party i was at with my family. my mom, sister and i were the first people to arive at the seen even before the cops, i was to little to do anything at the time but i just wonder what would have happended if we were a few minutes earlier

 
not all the time will a seatbelt save your life,my friend rolled his little civic 5 times and wasnt wearin his seatbelt and he was thrown out into some swampy shit so he wasnt hurt and if he had been wearing his seatbelt he would of died cuz the steering column went right thru the seat

one thing that happened here a while ago was like 8 kids died, they had 2 cars but one broke down, so one guy wiated for a tow truck and the otheres loaded into one car- some in the trunk 5 on a 3 seat bench- all crammed into the car and they got hit by the towtruck on its way to pick up their friend, thats fucked... i had a friend who dide over the winter- car crash with a truck jackknifing and they rolled- severe head damage

sorry about your friend. It sucks when someone dies from something so stupid.

a year ago a girl in my school died of bacterial meningitis and then less than a year later her brother died in a drunk driving accident. I wasnt too close to either but my parents were pretty good friends with their parents.

a couple years ago my brother's best friend died when he was in oregon and he was standing on the beach and someone threw a log off a cliff and it just happened to hit him in the head and kill him..i felt sooo bad for my bro cuz he just cried for days. and that same year a girl from my brothers class had some blood clot or something in her brain at school and got rushed to the hospital--she was in a coma for like 2 weeks and they finally just let her go..sad year

yeah its really sucks, two of my friends brothers, 3 of my friends dad's and one of my english teachers died. And it was sad, very sad, but it never compared to my friend that killed himself. That is the worst pain.
