oh man, a black day indeed..

I was just about to call it a day and skiing down to the bottom of the hill when all of a sudden I see a big group of people gathering around the exit of the snowpark.At first I thought someone is gonna pull something huge, so I stopped to check it out, but after I saw two ambulance skidoos and a slide with black covered blanket I knew shit has just hit the fan.....

I asked some borders were sitting on the side,what happened ? You could see they were really in shock from the way they talked, but they said this guy came to the lip switch extremely fast and started to rotate in the air tottally odd, to the side almost and that it almost looked like a rodeobackflip kindof thing..he overshot the landing for like 10 meters and landed on his head.Broken neck, dead in an instant.

Just as I wanted to go, I saw this little girl, not even 13 years old in tears talking 'But I forgot to turn on the camera'

So sad....

RIP man whoever you are, youre shredding the big mountain now

thats really sad. must of sorta killed your day. it also scares me a little. It reminds me, when I was at Tremblant a few days ago, my friend's parents were cross country skiing in the woods and they found this kid hunched over his dad giving him cpr and crying at the same time. He was already dead though.

^^it scares me a bit too. two weeks ago a friend told me that there was some girl that fell off a rail very bad and there was blood everywhere. one day later i heard of some boarders i know who are in that girls posse that it was her...kinda ruined my day too.

wow,i feel bad and that is horrible but i believe that i shouldn't be scared for that to happen because when it's my time god will get me, whether it be skiing or anything..RIP man, best wishes to his family.

a snowboarder died here on chrishtmas day. its was super windy and hard in the park. at the end of the day, he went into the bottom kicker, overshot it and faceplanted in the flats - a good 60-70 long and 30 feet down. snapped his neck. pretty shitty. i had a good day tho - me and my friend found 25$ each on our last run - random 20$s and 5$s blowing around in the wind down this one chute.

that sucks i feel bad for anyone that loses a loved one, it makes me wonder why im even doing some of the things i do, i dunno if any of you know it but last season i biffed on a rail and had internal bleeding, i was only a few hours away from dieing but it was scarier than that b/c i was planning on going to the hospital, but i did just in time.i almost went to sleep it off in which case i would too be another dead freeskier

Its horrible that it had to happen to anyone. It should be a good lesson to all the people out there in the parks though who think that they are invincible. Please everyone, stay insde your skill level, dont do anything stupid. No one wants to hear another story about a freeskier dieing on the hills. Dont be the baises for that story.
