A Film by Landis Tanaka

sick. liked it a lot. The shot where you kept changing the color of the guys shirt was pretty cool and all the slowmo/speedup stuff was sick.

I can't find a place to host it!! plus, the DVD has over an hour of bonus footage, slideshows, super8, and more. I was planning on sending a DVD to anyone who wants a copy for free.

anyone who wants a copy, PM me with the shipping address and I will send one out as soon as its finished.

I really liked it! It seemed very professional and if you had more footage (lifestyle possibly?) no one would be able to tell the difference between that and a high level movie.

you better have the shot where you eat it at hatchers...muahahahah.

"Kyyye Peeterson.....IT'S KYE PETERSON!!!"-good times...is that in the film :P

This movie actually looks incredibly incredibly sick.... i was hoping a giant sloth would suddenly appear and swallow one the skiers, yet all in all wasn't disappointed by the lack there of, because the trailer's actually rad.

Very, very sick and the only thing I would recomend is when you slow it down to make sure the camera is steady. It might seem steady at a normal frame rate but its a tad bit shaky slowed. I really like it though. How much was the whole production?

actually the slo mo was shakey because I exported with the wrong framerate, so it was jumpy.

the actual production cost me a lot of money though. I mean everyone's first movie costs the most, cause they have to buy a computer and camera and such, but aside from that, I spent nearly nothing.

Yo dude, the trailer is pretty dope for your movie. I was wondering if i could score a DVD, just needed to know what i had to send you in a PM.

its done! I just need to find a place to buy DVD covers, then I need to lock myself in the workshop so I can put together 50+ copies for all you people.

So that's how you get down up there eh? Good work. That was sick.

I saw the no poles steeze as well.

I'm PMing you because I want a copy! yeah!

I guess, but not really. Its more of a description of my movie. you can be like

"oh have you seen this movie?"

"whats it called?"

"I dont know but its a film by landis tanaka"

you can call it whatever.

First off, I really really liked your trailer. I liked the filming and the editing was pretty good too. You must be using a really good camera because the quality was AWESOME! I agree with the guy above who said "it looks like a high level movie" because it does!

My only advice would be to reconsider the name and logo of your company. When I initially heard about this (top of this thread) I was expecting to see a poorly put together movie which looked very unprofessional. After watching the trailer, it was exactly the opposite. Maybe it's just me, but I think that you might want to come up with a better company name that would be more professional and would help you out in the long run. Because after you make a name for yourself, you can't really change something as huge as your company name and still expect people to put 2 and 2 together. I'm thinking that in a few years, if you continue to go forward with the production company, you might regret your name.

That's all! Don't take it wrong, i really really liked your trailer and I think your movie has a ton of potential!

i disagree, i think its a pretty sick name. It's creative, it's fun. It's kinda like robot food, i mean what kinda name is that? but people know them and they're sick.

w3rd. Poorboyz is probably the gayest name but it works. Same with Teddybear Crisis, even though I think thats a tight name, it is silly nonetheless. As I always say, "It's not the name, but what you make of it." My name is Landis for god's sake, I mean what kinda name is that? so I feel my mission is to bring a good name to it. Same with Hungry Sloth Productions.
