first off, the wales forum got cleaned up so you guys know what that means...were on top.

and now a question. i always hear a lot of people from our area that bitch about the weather, theres nothing to do, other places are more exciting. i really think thats not a fair stereotype. if you consider it, we actually have a great area. best of all for seasons and most communities are really tight. so my question is

how many of you actually enjoy new england, and where would you go if not and why?

i love new england

i right outside of burlington in vt

burlington is super safe, especially compared to other major cities.

I'm around an hour or less from like 4 resorts

The lake is nice

skiing isn't quite like out west

main thing is that it usually doesn't get above 80, above that is considered a heat wave

and ya we tend to have nor'easters, but there are sunny days unlike PNW/BC area

i live in maine, snow sucks ass. yeah its kinda boring, i have a trampoline. thats entertains me. and i jump into lakes and rivers from cliffs and bridges

I'm from NH, in the winter and summer i ski, and work, the weather is great in NE, we get all for seasons for just the right amount of time.

I love New England, born in Vermont and living in Massachusetts. I'll probably live on the Mass coast for the rest of my life. If I weren't to live in Massachusetts I'd move to Cali so I can get 3 seasons most of the year and just take a short road trip to get some snow action in as well.
