A few questions about ski gear, +karma.

Okay, I have a few questions concerning the ski gear that I am going to order. First of all I am 5'8" and 130 pounds.

1. What size Anthems should I get? Last year I was skiing 161 twintips (not Anthems) and they were mounted near the back. I am going to centermount my Anthems.

2. I like white bindings, so I have been looking at the Salomon sth ones and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can order them for not too much money and what are the differences between them?

3. There's a setting on your bindings for like how easily they come out right? I was wondering if someone could please explain that to me and tell me what mine might be? I'll be sort of new to the park this year (I only did it a bit last year which was my first year) but outside the park I'm a good skier.

1. Get the 178 Anthems. Try to get EP's special pairs (see the website, they are called Spirals and Octoland, but they are actually just the Anthems. Less than 150 pair world wide!)

2. I don't recommend choosing bindings based on color, but search Google Product Search for some STHs cheap.

3. The setting is called your DIN. There are multiple charts online, but take your skis and boots to a local shop and have them set your DIN for you. It is a hassle, yes, but it is better than a torn ACL.
 
Haha, but hell, at least he chose a good binding, good but expensive.

Jesters are white too and they are super sick, but more than you need.

Definitely go with 178 Anthems, I'm 5'9 150 lbs. and I ride 178's and wish they were a little bigger but it's not a big deal at all.
 
definately go for 178 anthems...

also, for bindings, sth 12's would be good, or px12's, or maybe griffons? don't know much about those

also, as they said above go to your shop and they will know the DIN stuff
 
Im 5'8'' like 120 and i just bought the 171's :/.. should I be concerned I bought too small? I was hoping to get at least 2 seasons out of them and I'm growin pretty quick
 
dont second question yourself. your just fine on 171s depending on how much you grow. ns is just on a long ski trend. especially at your weight. your fine bro
 
Ya you are right. I skied 169 Fujatives when I was 5'8 140 and I had a blast cause I was new to park.

You will have a blast whatever ski you get, maybe a little more with a longer ski but it's all good.
